Had her online. Doesn't give out any notes, everything is through MathXL. Tests (ONLY MIDTERM AND FINAL) are worth 60%! Quizzes are 20% and HW is 20%! This is a teach yourself if you can class. She takes a long time to respond to emails. This is class is for those that know the material before hand. If you don't, leave. No extra credit at all.

Professor Ashkani is an amazing professor. She explains the subject in detail, step by step. The lectures are similar to the homework. Her tests are somewhat difficult. If you do all the homework and reviews, it is not difficult to receive an A. She is there for you whenever you need help and very friendly. I had her for pre-calc and algebra.

vary thick accent hard to understand. the vary first day she the class how you like to be taught and goes with what the marjority says. doesn't use blackboard, if you want your grade better ask. do the homeowrk and the labs (study guide) and you should be fine. the test are less than twenty question and are not multipule choice ecxept the final

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR GPA UP. She teaches everything ridiculously easy them gives you a lab that doesn't even compare to what she taught you then the test is nothing like the lab or what she taught. I've always had an A in math but she does not know how to teach or make the tests like anything she teaches. Beware.

Professor Ashkani is a really nice lady, and her class is not that hard if students attend every class and do all the homework. She does have a accent which does not bother me at all because she is not a english teacher, and she explains everything pretty clear.

Class is simple. College Algebra. Attendance is not mandatory, but she appreciates it. There is also homework, alos not mandatory, but you should obviously do it, because it WILL help you. There are four major test and the final, and she drops the lowest test score. She is friendly patient, understanding. Highly recommend.

She is great. You have to do your homework in this class. She simplifies the conceps. She answers all the questions in the beginning of the class which was so helpful.She is funny and has a great personality.She encourages asking your questions all the time. Greatest teacher I have ever had, I recommend her. Fabulous professor!

She's one of the most difficult math professors I've had in a long time. Her accent makes it hard to understand her and her tests are NOTHING like the study guides. I was lucky to pass her class! I got all my help from the tutor center because she also offers no help whatsoever. I've never failed a class in my life but I was terrified I would!

It not that difficult to take her class but if you slack like i did you will fail! you have to work.there is h.w in her class but she doesnt collect it! but its good practice.Her accent is strong but you can get through it. 4 Exams you can fail 2 and still be able to pass. This professor is great in teaching and explaining information step by step. She always answers questions before she starts with a new section. She also gives a cool project. I see some prejudice comments here! "She has an annoying accent"?? Her accent is very charming, I wish I her accent, and I am a born Floridian and grew up here. She is an excellent professor. Take he classes, but do homework. Her class is one of the best classes for learning math,she covers the materials clearly and answers all the questions.

She is one of the beat math teacher I have had so far. If you do not go to the class and on top of that do not do your homework, you better drop the class. You have to do your homework, and she allows students ask all the homework questions in the beginning of the class, I loved that. I enjoyed her class, she is an awesome teacher.

Your grade is all on the 4 tests she gives you. Her teaching method is awful. She doesnt give study guides, but she does let you use an index card for the tests. The final was NOTHING like the study guide she finally gave us. Her accent was a little annoying, especially at 7am. I got a C, which ruined my GPA. I recommend you don't take her.

This is not a hard teacher, she is very clear and breaks down what you dont understand AS LONG AS YOU ASK QUESTIONS. like the rest of us, she cant read minds. also DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! I like the way the class is conducted, she has a slight accent but easy to understand. very charming. I got an A, but you have to study!!
