Comment:

Professor McCord was such an annoying professor, but the class was pretty easy. Just pay attention during class (esp when he assigns HW because he gives you most of the answers) and make good cheat sheets. The exams aren't nearly as difficult as everyone says they are, so long as you understand all the homework assignments and lecture problems.

Comment:

Really good professor who is very passionate about the topic and has a lot of experience in the field that he shares in class. His lectures can be confusing at times but he provides really thorough notes that help you follow. Exams are pretty easy since be provides previous exams to study off of.

Comment:

Hes a good teacher and hes very knowledgeable about what he does. Is a good teacher. But the exams are absurd. The questions are not straight forward, he twists them to ask things you wouldve never thought to study. Exam 2 is the worst, and make sure to study stuff from exam 1 for exam 2 also. Good teacher, but exams are the worst.

This class isnt like any other classes that i have taken and its a fun class for me. Many activities outside of the class which is super fun for me as you can imply the skill that has been taught in the class.

Dr. McCord knows what he's talking about, plus he really cares about his student. He would explain both materials and assignments to make sure that students fully understand. His exams aren't hard, and are consistent to the previous exams that he posted online as a study guide. Basically if you come to class and do practice exams, you'll be fine.

McCord is a great guy and really wants you to learn, but the material brutally mundane. No textbook, so if you don't understand McCord's notes, you're out of luck. Lots of work and hard tests.

Very knowledgeable professor, he has a lot of ongoing projects/research so he's pretty up-to-date with the transportation engineering field. Assignments were pretty tedious but it makes up for the lack of quizzes in the class. Can be quite entertaining in class with his hand gestures and actions.

I took so many classes in transportation engineering and I would do it all over again. very knowledgeable and organized and makes the material look so easy and tries to help students a lot. He's a big plus in the department for students in Civil Engineering.

Class is pretty easy, although lecture is extremely boring/useless, only go to turn in homework and get it back(takes off points for homework not picked up. Hes rude and acts like hes the man. Is entertaining to watch and laugh at. Makes crazy hand gestures. Kinda reminds me of a creepy old guy lookin to mack on some young girls, he could never get

He is nice, but his notes look like they've been written by a five year old. He's very lucid in his teaching instruction, but, his class is not at all challenging, and is kind of a disgrace to engineering give its level of difficulty (low). Also, he wears sweatervests (nuff said).

Very fast talking, but will explain things more if people are having problems. Gives fair homework and the test wasn't bad at all. If you can keep up with him and participate in his lectures, you'll do well.
