If you have a 3-hour class each week he will only keep you for an hour. The only two grades are the midterm and final. His exams are lecture based, and you won't use the textbook. Didn't learn anything in his class and his lectures are boring.

Incredibly sweet man! Loves when students ask questions and participate. Everything on his exams are based off his lectures, so if you show up and listen it's an easy A.

He's a really great guy who cares about his students. Taking his 8 AM is really boring, but overall, the class is super easy and your grade is pretty much determined by three tests (he tells you what is on all of them) and one presentation. Overall I would recommend taking his class.

Very intelligent and knowledgable. It's a little difficult taking his 8:00 AM because he's older and just lectures, but he's a great instructor. As long as you show up and take notes on the stuff he writes on the board, you're good for his tests. He is a little unclear about assignments though, but it isn't that bad evaluate he's not a harsh grader

hard to understand at times, and can be boring but the man knows his stuff. very intelligent with lots of experience. never use the book, class normally lasts an hour, 3 tests all MC with a few essay questions, 1 chapter review, and one presentation. will meet and help if needed. good guy.

Intro to the Study of Government Systems is super easy. He is very nice and tries to be humorous about things. However, I never really knew what was going on in the class. Didn't learn a thing, and still somehow wound up with an A.

Great professor, cute little old wrinkled Iranian man. Very VERY knowledgeable. Very friendly and ends class at the same time almost every session. All lecturing, but if you show up and take notes, there's only three tests and a paper so you'll be fine. Offers a lot of extra credit. Awesome professor!

You can tell he's an incredibly intelligent man. Very good teacher - his lectures were organized and clear. His jokes were actually pretty funny too! Some test questions could be a little tough but if you take notes and pay attention it would be difficult to fail.

Very easy class, especially for the abbreviated summer term. He seems like a very interesting guy and I actually wish I had a chance to hear more of what he has experienced through his life. Take notes and you will do just fine.

Very intelligent man. English is his 3rd language ,but he's very easy to understand if you're willing to pay attention. Go to class and don't worry so much if he goes off on some random tangent. He usually only assigns one major paper and maybe one fifteen point test that anyone with half a brain could pass.

A very easy professor. I don't think I had more than 3 homework assignments for the whole semester, and only used the book once. The tests could be a little confusing but as long as you take notes in class, you should be fine.

Honestly as long as you attend the class the class or two before the test you will be fine. I actually went to class all the time - but I really didn't need to! I opened the book once to do the final paper which was 1 pg long. I would borrow the book from someone and save your money. Tends to ramble...
