Comment:

In my time at FSU I was fortunate to have a bevy of fantastic professors. Dr. Diskin, however, tops this list. His advanced appraisal class is challenging but for good reason. It was clear early on that he believes success should be earned. Still, he gives you plenty of tools and constant feedback to ensure success if you are ready to work for it.

Comment:

Dr Diskin is one of the best professors that I had at FSU. He is thoughtful and cares about his students. His class is difficult but he makes it that way in order to prepare his students for the "real world" and find a job after graduation. This class was the best preparation that I had for my career after school.

Comment:

Dr. Diskin is the best professor I've had at FSU. His class is extremely challenging, but very rewarding. Dr. Diskin is extremely caring and helpful and only wants the best for his students. Any negative comments about Dr. Diskin only stem for students who wanted an easy class. Dr. Diskin prepares you for the real world- awesome professor!!

Dr. BADs class was my most stressful classes, but I am very grateful I took it. I actually use what I learned in his class everyday at work now. He honestly cares about ALL of his students. Show some effort, go to class, pay attention to the resources he provides, & dont hesitate to reach out to him. He's not a bad person to have in your network.

One of the most influential and memorable professors in all of my business studies. Was instrumental in helping me find my first career oriented job. He's always been very interested in seeing his students succeed and has a high level of integrity.

I can easily say Dr. Diskin was the best and most influential professor I ever had. If you desire a career in real estate, take his class. He will teach you fundamentals and practical applications that you will use in your career and challenge you with real world assignments. Comment:

Dr. Diskin cares about his students and their careers beyond FSU. The appraisal project was tough, but I plan to bring it up in interviews after grad school because it is still one of the most relevant experiences I've had in the industry. Hard work in Dr. Diskin's course pays off in his classroom and beyond.

We were told from the begining the class that it was not easy, and that it would take effort and participation on our part to learn the material. It was hard, but it's not suppose to be easy. He was readily available for questions whenever possible. I only wish other professors put so much personal attention into helping us learn the material.

Dr. Diskin's method of teaching is direct and informative. He focuses on applying the knowledge rather than just memorizing it. Diskin’s class was one of the most challenging and rewarding at FSU. Students willing to apply themselves will be real-world ready. His willingness to reach-out to contacts to help get his students interviewing opportunities is unmatched. Dr. Diskin is one of the best real estate professors you will ever encounter. He holds you to a higher standard, so if your not ready to be challenged, chose another class. This was the hardest class I took at FSU, but it was also the most useful. I use things I learned in this class on a weekly basis. Dr. Diskin makes you work very hard and holds you to a high standard, but he will continue to teach and mentor long after you leave his class.

Best professor I had in four years. The class is challenging but Dr. Diskin cared a lot about the subject matter and the students. He was by far the greatest and is very experienced in his field.
