Excellent instructor. took his physics, statics, dynamics courses. TRUST the PROCESS. his process is such a good tool that I still use it today as a PM of multi-million $ projects. is it possible? Is it reasonable? Not everyone has the chops for engineering. Bill trains engineers. if ya can't learn from him, expect to switch majors.

I'm not sure what was going through everyone else's minds when they finished his classes and went to junior year, but I knew one thing... I was prepared. Bill Murray is the best professor I have ever had. Bill Murray showed me how to be a real problem solver and how to truly think like an engineer. This will be difficult, but it is worth it.

Bill is an ok guy, but as a Engineering professor he is possibly one of the worst. I have graduated from TN Tech with an engineering degree, and feel that if I had taken a class that was more focused on learning the material than his 7 step process I would have benefited. Taking these classes put me behind academically. I learned nothing from him.

Absolutely the worst teacher in the world. I am normally an A student and got a D. He acts like his methods are the way to go, but really all it does is cloud everything. No sense of humor and his writing is chicken scratch. Just wait to take statics & dynamics at a different school if at all possible.

Talks as if everyone knows the material and his tests are timed at exactly 57 minutes.. No Exceptions. He is a crackpot old fool and is always holding up an imaginary scroll and saying "Everyone got the idea there?" Yes Bill Murray, I understand that you are the reason I changed my major from engineering to business.

Bill Murray is without a doubt the most God-awful professor you will ever have!!! It's amost impossible to decipher his chicken scratch on the projector. He doesn't teach the material, he merely thinks out loud and won't give you an answer when you ask a question. He says he can't help you because you won't have help in the field.

He's without a doubt the worst teacher I've ever had. He made you feel stupid when you asked a question, and would then refuse to give you a direct answer. When I e-mailed him for help it took him a week or more to get back to me. The class was poorly structured and he would spring tests on us with little warning. I was a wreck all semester...

Very poor teacher. Lectures are monotonous and a waste of time - he doesn't teach anything. Conversely, his class is extremely easy as long as you can stay awake. I also have a problem with teachers who count off for absences, yet feel it ok to miss their own class.

Mr. Murray is terrific-I think he's the best engineering teacher ever. I sure missed him when I went on to get my Bachelors. Very helpful toward students and really wants you to learn.

Dr. Murray is the best teacher. He is a very very nice guy, and he is an awesome Christian. This class if very very very very hard though, but Dr. Murray will help you, all you have to do is go to him. I would reccomend him before I would any other.
