She gives lots of quizzes and tests (including pre-lab quiz), extra credits, 3 midterms. Final consisted of ACS test and one test she made which was really easy. she always gives hard tests because students will have to take ACS test for final as the department's demand. Not so clear on explaining but she's a nice professor. Challenging class.

coming into this class knowing the materials, leaving the class confused. Late to class very often, lots of mistakes on quizes and tests. lectures are...can't even call them lectures. Must read the text book comprehensivly to understand her class.

She is by far the worst science teacher out there. My lab teacher didn't understand as to why I was passing her class yet failing the lecture. Lo is horrible, when you need help, she insults you in front of class, makes you sound stupid and she uses old lecture notes so hardly anything she says is covered on the test, don't take her, i suggest find

I took more than 3 chem classes and this is the worst teacher I have ever had. What she explain and whats in the book is hele different, she got this old power points that she follows for the Exams. Avoid her!!!! I even left Mission College because they put only her on the schedual.

Mrs. Lo is a nice teacher who tries to help her students by warning them about "pop" quizzes. The only problem is that its hard to understand her lectures because her English is bad. Just read the book and you will be fine.

At 12:20PM, I walked into her class, my mind was full of fighting spirit & old knowledge of chemistry. At 3:20PM, I dashed out of her class, checking if my mind was still in its right place after being anaesthetized and messed up violently!! Strongly not recommended if you truly want to LEARN and IMPROVE.

A really bad prof. The lectures made no sense, which is especially bad considering the material in 1b is much harder than 1a. Don't let her 'multiple choice' tests/quizzes fool you--I swear that a number of the questions weren't convered in the lecture (and I think a few might not have been in the book, either). Get another prof. ASAP.

Lectures are confusing and terrible. Makes a lot of little mistakes that cause confusion. grading system is whack. Openly ridicules students in front of class for doing nothing wrong. If youre looking for a curved grade, look elsewhere. the only reason i passed that class is because i stopped listening to her and started reading my book.

first let's talk about her lecture. With my personal experiment, i don't learn a thing in her class and that's also occured the same with my friend. Test is hard, usually that stuff that are not in her lecture. You will learn by your own, and to able to get a high grade on her exam, you must do all the own (homework) to earn it.

Comment:
Unorganized lecture, very scattered notes, and doesn't seem to really explain the material thoroughly, MUST have a tutor and read ahead of the lesson to be able to understand the lecture. Lectures are confusing and grading is not accurate to the syllabus
