I took business law summer class. She had a decently organized syllabus, though it was very fast paced, she did respond to most questions, her responses were usually 1 sentence and were not to helpful, basically follow the syllabus the answers are there. She would answer Yes, but not give any other guidance. Overall, fairly easy, lots of reading.

I took her Summer '10 and it was online. Her curriculum was very organized so you knew what was due and when. She took a few days to respond to students. However, if you were dedicated you could finish the 5 lessons due every two weeks in a few days. If BUS51 were online and she was teaching, I would take her again.

This class is hard but if you try hard ull probably get a gd grade. there are tones of work is just too much!!especially for online(when most of students have busy schedule)lost of short writing and is hard. the discussion is pretty hard. quizzes are ok. exams u needa study.But she seems pretty nice.

Maybe it was my initial interest in the subject matter, but I found this (ONLINE) class to be a breeze. It was challenging, but in the way that makes the time fly. I definitely enjoyed this class, but do not take this class if you're bad at managing your time, most work does not have deadline extensions. Still a great class.

She's a good teacher, but if you're going to take her online class, be prepared to spend a lot of time!! I barely had time to breathe with this class. I learned a lot but it took up most of my time.

Ms. Meyer is very lax about responding to the discussion board. She doesn't moderate either. She seems to avoid certain questions, as if she does not know the answer or rely on teachers manual. Students have only 3 non-weekend days to do essay questions, even though online students take the course because of their busy schedules. Bad experience.

Comment:

Business Law 028A was the hardest class I ever took. It was once per week, and the in class instruction did not offer much preparation for the type of information that we would need to know for the tests (which make up a large part of the grade). Despite the hard work, it is a fun class and Ms Meyer rewards hard work with good grades.

The class is challenging and you will read 2-3 chapters per week. You will also have to go to court once to observe and write a report on a case. You will learn a lot if you apply yourself. Do the reading, study, do your work, and you will be fine. It's not an easy "A", but it is entirely possible with the right work ethic.

- Not helpful for newcomers in business major; over-challenged because of over-assigned works, too much stuff at a time. This instructor is not flexible at all in terms of due assignments, grades, and overall. Tests were not difficult but tricky questions, so you cannot get an A easily. this lady isn't a teacher. She does a horrible job barely going over each chapter and then assigns tedious worksheets for groups to do that teach you nothing. She requires that you go to a court case on your own time and do an essay on it. Her tests are nothing more than intracate wordplay, it is not so much a test on buslaw as it is on logic.

Online Bus. Law. Lots of reading. You can make mistakes on your papers but it helps if she can see that you tried and that aren't afraid to think. Tests were in the classroom and covered the assignments. I learned a ton and actually did like this class. Was not interested in the beginning.

She's not a good teacher. Her tests were difficult. you think you understand the lesson, when you have the test on your hand, you will shocked because the test materials did not cover on the textbook. Her class are difficult to get "B". She did not give you a favor if your grade (79%) close to "B". She did not grade Participation point fairly.

Tests, Tests, Tests!!! Study for your tests. Attendance wasnt to important, but lots of material was given in each class that made everyone go. In the end participation points will impact your grade enough to make it hard to pass. She assigns extra credit, which you'll most likely do. Give yourself plenty of time to make this class.

I thought this was a tough online class but she was really nice and helped ease this course. Considering that the material would be bland (business law), be sure start the reading in the text asap. The quizzes weren't that bad and her exams were fairly predictable.
