His voice was not loud enough to understand. The class is boring. I've taken calc at high school, but still tough for me. The exams were harder than my expectation(The exams were made by the department, not by himself probably). This course took me a lot of time. Mymathlab helps a lot.

It's true that he can be a little unclear at times but Boualem is a good teacher. He genuinely wants to succeed and takes an interest in his students. Great office hours. Tries to make his class as engaging as possible. I would recommend studying for this class a bit more than your others. the midterms were more challenging than the final.

Terrible. Constant voice cracks, constant mumbling. Always makes mistakes while doing the lecture, erases the whole example and starts over. Used to love math but now it's so stressful because I learn nothing in my lecture and have to wait till the lab to learn all of my material

Only took the class for a week. I know that may seem hard to judge, but honestly he mumbles. A lot. Hard to understand although he seems extremely smart and was more than willing to answer questions and explain multiple times.

Some people are just hard to please. This man is an excellent professor and had listed all the key concepts from the book rewritten in a form that is applicable by the student for purposes of practicing the theory and questions given. I highly recommend this professor.

The difficultly of this class was compounded by errors in the notes. Sometimes he's unclear, but he is helpful outside of class. Demands a good knowledge of course material, reflected in his exams and homework. Overall an interesting class - study hard and you'll do well!
