Dr. Ghalambor was a good professor, you can tell he is very passionate about the subject; he definitely knows his stuff. However, lectures were a bit boring, and the exams seem like they were written years ago and he hasn't bothered to update them, so they don't fit class material well. Also, he never gives your exams back, which I would have liked

He was a very interesting professor, and obviously quite interested in the material he was teaching. The class itself is fairly difficult; make sure to study quite a bit before any given exam and take extensive notes.

It's a good idea to go to office hours to go over tests. Sit in the front so you don't fall asleep. He posts the complete notes on WebCT, so bring your book to class and follow along there highlighting important stuff (look that over before the test!!) then after class, copy the notes from WebCT.

He puts nearly every word he says up on his powerpoint presentation, which stresses people who don't know how to take notes without copying word for word. It's a big class, and he's not very good at using things like WebCT to make sure everyone has help.
