This is the worst professor anyone could have. She treats her students like children. She teaches straight from the book. She has no enthusiasm. She speaks derogatively to her students. She complains more than she teaches. Don't take her class.

First off, she in no way has ever wanted to be a teacher. Monotone if i ever heard it before, she has absolutely no enthusiasm for her job or english in general. She takes forever to teach things that we all learned sophomore year in high school, and she reads directly out of the book, no exceptions. WORST TEACHER EVER, DEFINITELY AVOID C BOECK!!!!

very nice in class, although it's the dullest class I've ever taken, but I didn't expect more being that it's an English class. I, unlike anybody in my class wanted all As and this teacher refuses to give As on essays which is the source of 60% of our grade. I gave her the best essays on this earth and got low Bs I swear she didn't read a single 1

I took this class in the summer 2014 semester as an 8 week course (6/9/14-7/31/14) it was a lot of work and lots of reading!!!! I would not suggest procrastinating because it is hard trying to get caught up in everything. If your not good in English then I don't recommend doing this as a short termed class.

This class is a breeze! She doesn't show much personality and doesn't really help...but at the same time you don't really need it. You don't need to do the readings because she basically reads it to you in class. It is one of the most boring classes I've ever taken, but at the same time, it's the easiest class ever.

It really doesn't matter if you were the next best selling author; you would still get a B in her class and on every single assignment. If you ask her questions, don't expect answers or feedback. She doesn't have personality, and she tends to favor guys over girls. She doesn't know how to teach, so the text book is the main source of this class.

I have taken many college courses, but this instructor takes the cake. She talks down to her students, has no self respect for herself or her students. She emphasizes how important it is to be on time for her class but is late majority of the time. Steer clear of her she is not worth the time

I have never experienced a worse teacher. She has ZERO personality and made it painful to sit through one of her lectures. I walked out of her class learning absolutely nothing. This teacher will not help you or give any feedback what-so-ever. She knows nothing about English and I'd rather die than take her class again. Sorry, but it's true.

Candace Boeck is the worst teacher that I've ever seen. Fist,if you ask her a favor, her answer will be "it's not on the syllabus" exactly like a robot.Second,I wanna tell the(spelling expret)That if she gave you B (no matter what you wrote), I would give her an F like she gave all my essays even though I used to go to the writing center.

Looks like the guy that spelled Waste (not waist) needed to listen more and complain less. I liked candice she was nice and knows her stuff. she teaches alot of high school transfers so shes tough but i liked it. I would give her a B- like she gave all my papers. All of them good or bad.

She acts really insecure. She has not helped me grow in writing at all. If you are a good writer and you just want to sleep through the class, I guess she would be the one. Plan on tons of pointless work. Unusully, she grades kind of hard; something I did not expect from her.
