He is a genius, I will give him that, but if you don't understand something he can't seem to grasp the concept that us students don't know everything. You learn from the packets he gives you and you need a tutor to interpret them for you. He should have stayed an engineer, and not become a teacher.

For MET 206 he was down right horrible. He never used the text book. Instead used notes that were written by the professor the previously taught the course. I think it was tough for him to explain something not outlined by himself. He is very defensive and extremely rude. A professor that made me feel like he didn't care. Good Luck in his class!!

MET 320 is SUPPOSED to be a hard class. With Sweeney teaching it, it is insane. Everything he goes over is on the tests, though, there isn't any useless material. Most of the class has a D or lower, and about half are in it for a 2nd or 3rd time. Be prepared to spend many many hours on homework and studying, like never before.

Thinks he is funnier than he is. Monotone. Tries to make material easy, but sometimes crappy material just can't be saved. Gives either group quizzes for extra credit or the problems that will be on a quiz on days when attendance is low, that way people who actually show up can pad there grades.

Never put the pencil down in this class. Buckle down on HW and you better be self sufficient b/c you need to learn the material yourself. He gives lots of examples, which is nice. Hardly ever available to help.

Talks so fast some sentences come out backwards. 3/4 of the class got a c or worse on the last test, 11 people are repeating the class from last year, and about that many are failing now. Hmmmm maybe there is a problem.... Naa he'll be here next year doing the same thing. This college sucks.
