Ive had two classes with Carol. Above everything she wants to make sure that you learn. Not just know the material, but grow into a better social worker. When I forgot to upload an assignment she reminded me and gave me a little time. She knows many people in the community and seems to keep in touch with students. Shes hilarious, too.

By far, my favorite professor I've taken in my social work career. She demands you put in work, but when you do, she loves seeing people grow in their skills. Will definitely be one of the few professors I hope to keep in touch with to help develop my skills post-graduation!

The most difficult and truly most intelligent Professor I've had. She WILL expect you to read, follow APA to a T and expects graduate level work. This is not a class you can slack off in however, she will stay late to explain anything you require and will go above and beyond to ensure you learn. She puts in a lot of work and she expects you to also

Dr. Kahn is one of the best professors at the SSW. She WILL expect you to work (duh, it's grad school) but you will learn a lot from her. She reads ALL papers carefully and provides helpful critiques. If you put your time in, read, participate in class, etc. you can expect a good grade; if you're a knucklehead, then you deserve the grade you get
