took this class for my gen ed, BEST CLASS EVER. Learned a lot of interesting things, participation is mandatory part of your grade, but he is well-worth the effort to show up. One of my favorite professors of all time. Most under-rated prof ever! Most of the people who take his classes are a bunch of first-year crybabies .

All the commenters here are a bunch of idiots. This guy is by far the best prof EVER. He is the nicest guy. Encourages you to participate and actually LISTENS TO WHAT YOU SAY. Bad prof, doesn't show up to class and when he does he doesnt know what hes doing and lectures never make sense/ are interesting. Readings are long and confusing, exams are also long and they dont give you help to prepare for them

Boring and monotone speaker. He likes to talk for 2 hours straight in his tutorials, don't expect much participation. He is way too awkward, I can't recount the amount of times when he asked a question and got no reply from the class mates. At one point in class he looked like he was going to crack down and start crying! He needs a long vacation.

This prof is definitely one of my favorites! He is just like a high-school teacher. He tells you exactly what will be on the exam and what sections of the book to study and what to skip. He also gives you the exam essay question so you can prepare at home and write on the exam. He is the best!Try to take it in the summer and there won't be grp work

Took him in summer and he is difficult at first since its hard to understand his humour and lectures, often very confusion and off topic. But he is a very chilled prof and gives a lot of time to finish the assignment. Expect homework and don't get confused, keep up with the readings and you will be good

Prof Battershill is very knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining to listen to. He is a great teacher and truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He is always available to help and does not pressure people to participate however you can see how much he appreciates it when they do. Excellent Prof.

He's a good guy but does not care about the course at all, his attendance was worse than mine in high school hahaha....(i didn't go to class much in high school) he will answer your questions in a non-direct way (very annoying) and his tutorials are very weird structure, a week ahead instead of the previous lecture, did not like that style one bit.

Seems like a decent guy but does not want to be teaching nor is he good at it. Cancelled many lectures throughout the year without reason. No course website which is annoying. Very, very hard to follow in lectures. You can skip lectures and go to tutorial and only read the one text book and get a B easy. Gives you most questions before exam.

This Prof enjoyed making jokes and if you listen and ask questions, it is easy to understand his material. He lays out everything and if you incorporate his readings and examples, you will definitely get a good grade. The prof is always willing to answer any questions. He adapts to a class's environment very well. Took his summer condensed course.

The title is misleading. This course is mostly about economics and business. However, the prof is very funny and considerate. Any troubles talk to him! He will give you the marks if he sees you trying. Only take this if your interested in the economy.
