I love Dr. Seltzer! He lectures the whole class but he tries to be funny and its always interesting. Hes very understanding and reaches out if he notices a student is struggling. He truly wants students to understand and pass. His 101 class was one reason I want to be a psychiatrist.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors! Truly enjoyed every class, you can miss up to 4 classes but you wouldn't want to because the lectures are fun & full of knowledge you can use in real life. He's HILARIOUS & extremely cares for his students! He engages with his students and uses examples to make students understand. Exams and PowerPoint are clear.

Dr. Seltzer is AMAZING!!!! His lectures were all based on PowerPoints he made but unlike other teachers he didn't just read it, he explained. He gave real life examples and never rushed through material. Grades were all based on 3 tests, a few short answer in class assignments, and MindTap quizzes. Super easy to follow!

I love Professor Seltzer!! Hes funny, quirky, and cares about his students. Hes so kind and makes sure everyone is on the same page. He makes sure all his students understand before moving on. Also, his teaching tactics are great! Best teacher Ive taken so far!

you know 10/10? dr. seltzer was 100/100. this is one of the last classes i had to take before getting into my radiology program. he does lecture a bit, but he stops and asks questions related to the material and makes sure EVERYONE understands before moving on to something new, and he cares a whole lot about his students. one of my favourites.

I loved Professor Seltzter! He has such a quirky and fun personality which makes it easy to learn from him. He does in-class practice tests which are really effective. He makes sure you have all the info you need to succeed his in class. By far my favorite teacher at CCBC so far.

Dr. Seltzer was an absolutely amazing professor to have. He is super friendly and funny, and he really makes an effort to connect with each and every person who is in the class. The information taught in his class was extremely challenging, but if you study the study guides he provides and come to lecture, you will be okay in this course.

Awesome professor, loves his students to learn, captures your attention, very funny, easy tests, online quizzes, in class assignments, be prepared to write on the short answer essays in class, wish all professors were like him. Made me want to learn more about psychology. I will be said when his class is over, very very enjoyable!

Dr. Seltzer was a great professor and I learned a lot during his honors class. His tests are quite bland but he gives you plenty of study materials beforehand. Homework is light for this class and he is available during his office hours to meet if you have questions or need help. He is truly interested in seeing you succeed.

Comment:

Dr. Seltzer is a great instructor. The class was very lecture heavy, but he provides all of his slides ahead of time so it's very easy to take notes. I rarely used the book, mostly only for the Mindtap quizzes. Mindtap was a bit wonky throughout the class. Dr. Seltzer also provides fantastic study guides for the exams which helped tremendously.

Awesome teacher. i had him for honors psychopharmacology. it was all lectures but he had everything planned out and organized very well. and personally i didnt mind taking the notes, he made the class very interesting. Apply yourself and you will get an A! Every test was very clear. hes such a sweet guy!

He makes it obvious what's on the exams making it really easy to study. His whole class is just lecturing, it's not the most exciting thing in the world (not his fault), but he throws in humor every now and again. Great professor, do the work and study and you'll get an A. Honestly, the textbook is useless. Just study the powerpoints.

Dr. Seltzer is awesome. His lectures are a bit long-winded, (I took his 3hr night course and he lectured the ENTIRE length of class), but he is extremely dedicated to his students. He greatly wants to see you succeed and will do everything in his power to ensure that you do just that. Concise grader; no surprises or curveballs. Would take again.

His classes are lectures so expect lectures. It's better to print out the power points instead of taking notes. He gives funny examples to help you know the information. Tests aren't hard as long as you study!
