I cannot believe he is still teaching at GRCC. He is the worst teacher. He YELLED at me when I was asking a valid question in class. He was being egotistical and created a hostile environment by yelling at his students. How is this acceptable? Many in the class were also in tears at times from the stress of the impossible workload that he gave out.

This was probably one of the hardest classes I have ever taken! He knows what he is doing, but doesn't know how to teach it. Quizzes were REALLY hard, and in a different format than the homework. I ended up having a group chat with people sitting around me, which really helped! One good thing is he will answer even on the weekends!

He's an alright guy. If you're looking for a hand to hold, look elsewhere. 1st/2nd class he'll go over quickbooks, but after that he expects you to work on your own, which wasn't bad for me. But I imagine older students who aren't comfortable with computers wouldn't appreciate his teaching style (he doesn't teach). Quizzes every class. Easy A

This class was full of annoyances. If it's available as in-class, definitely go that route, unless you can find another instructor for the online section. David's doing this part time, and it's evident. Your actual teacher is the book. The software is obnoxious to operate as a student. It almost feels dated. Hated this class. Enjoy being confused!

By far the worst teacher I have encountered as a student. He yells at you for asking questions that he didn't clearly explain. He gave the class a take home final project to work on for over 2 weeks on your own. He accused me of cheating because I used the internet in which was an outside source! How is that far? Drop his class!!!!

While I have no doubt he knows Quickbooks very well, he doesn't explain it well. Quizes and explainations leave lots of room for interpretation. Doesn't give all the necessary info up front; feeds it along in pieces so you may have to backtrack and redo work based on newly devulged important information.

This was a 7 wk QuickBooks class. Poorly organized & instructions were vague. Mr B could not answer questions about program function if it wasn't in the assigned lesson. It appears he doesn't know the program very well. Took 3 weeks to get things graded. Many students frustrated that questions went ignored online,email & phone format.

Below Average quality instructor. Tests are filled with poorly worded questions and make up 60% of your grade. Instructor purposely uses jargon and withholds information for students allowing them to "struggle" before providing concise simple answers to basic questions. Not the worst instructor I've had, but far below average.

Terrible teacher - he makes everything more difficult than it needs to be & acts like you are stupid if you ask a question. He makes up his own final project instead of using the one from the book. He seems to think you should intuitively know everything about QuickBooks - ridiculous! He is not helpful in any way, shape or form! Avoid if possible!!

Great Prof! I took his 7 week online course, learned a lot, he was very helpful and responded quickly to emails about your qruestion. Hard to fail this class with him unless you really don't try. Assigments, quizes and exams are all quite easy.. Highly Recomended!

Comment:

Bystry knows his QuickBooks and is a great asset to GRCC. He is a very understanding professor and will take the time to show you what you're doing wrong, or what you need help understanding. Is very patient and his tests are pretty easy assuming you were paying attention in class and did assignments as required.
