The worst professor I've ever had. Told me my grandfather's funeral wasn't an excuse for a project not being started. it wasn't even late. It just wasn't started AVOID HIM.

I love this guy! One of my favorite professors. He is known to favor women more, that's why my helpfulness score is so high. He is definitely flirty, but still cares about all his students. USE HIS OFFICE HOURS! He'll like you more, and is really helpful.

He drifts off a lot, but he really knows his stuff. He is very helpful if you don't understand, but sometimes he can be a little pretentious. I think that's just his personality, though. Altogether a good professor.

Ive had him a few times plus he is my adviser for scheduling. Class is easy and straightforward, take notes on the lecture and you'll pass. Only issue is he is not very good at getting back to you with questions, and can be a big arrogant when students don't understand topics

Had him for a public speaking course. Interesting guy, very intelligent but extremely biased. He played the favorites game and it showed in how he related to you in front of the class, especially. In fact, he called out/embarrassed a student when their person conflict (a family member dying) changed the syllabus. Be wary.

Worked with him in Journalism Department and when he was teaching intro course for incoming students. He is funny and interesting. He does favor those in his area but all around good guy and a great person to talk to if you are having troubles.

I really enjoyed DJ's class. It's very laid-back and comfortable. He knows a lot in the field of broadcasting and it shows. My favorite part was the study guides. They are very detailed and basically are the whole test. As long as you study it, you'll be fine. He's a nice guy, too!

Fabili was a great teacher. He gives an study guide that provides the exact items you need to know for the test. His tests are mostly fill in the blank and short answer. He is very responsive over e-mail and willing to help any student out. I had to take this class and am not part of PPJ and experienced none of what the prior ratings mentioned.

These answers are 100 percent dead on correct. He favors PPJ members and is sarcastic. He makes you feel stupid if you ask a question. Also, grades very tuff...too tuff. He is the only teacher for radio tho, so not much of a choice. Glad I'm done. Good luck and just do the best you can.

Terrible advisor. Could care less when I came to him with real problems. Blew me off n told me to go ask someone else. Comes on to girls and makes flirty comments. And I don't know who put that he was hot but that is defiantly a joke b/c he is so not!!! No way in hell!

Dave isn't an awful teacher but if you get on his bad side things can be difficult. He plays favorites! His assignments are unclear and when you ask him to clarify he makes you feel stupid for asking. Then when you don't give him what he wanted he gives you low marks & comments saying that you didn't follow instructions. Tests can be tricky too because sometimes he gets really picky & is after something really specific. He knows what he's talking about but sometimes he can just be downright ign

He is the main reason I left Point Park. While he is knowledgable about radio, he's a horrible advisor. He never showed up for my scheduled meetings and tried to put me in classes I had already taken.

Dave is a good teacher but tends to favor WPPJ members. Also he needs to focus on teaching more of the technological aspects of broadcasting rather than the old tape decks.
