The dudes brilliant! He practically gives you everything you need to know on the test. All you have to do in class is write down almost everything he says and you will pass, you can the read the books too but the guy goes over everything. He knows what he's talking about!

Comment:

Dr. Lewis is my absolute favorite teacher in the English department! His lectures are wonderful and his tests are fairly easy as long as you pay attention and take copious notes. I've had him for a majority of my English classes. I have learned so much from his classes!Anyone who is an English major must take Dr. Lewis' classes.

I gotta admit, despite the fact he's a strict grader, this was a pretty awesome class. It's tough, but he's so thorough in his analysis that you probably could get away with not even reading. He's a good guy, and I would take this class again. Just don't expect to score a quick A though.

It's a lecture class, but as long as you read the books he assigns and take notes, you'll do fine. Even if you don't read, take good notes and you can pass. All tests are take-home, so put some thought into what you write. He's pretty nice too and is really passionate about what he teaches with serious insight into the novels.

People always say he's boring, but I don't really think so. His lectures were always organized and he's one of the most well-spoken professors I've had. Loved that all the tests were take-home. The only other assignment was to read a book and write a short paper on it. Attendance is necessary - read the plays, take notes, & you'll do well

He's one of the most laid back professors at PPU. His class is quite boring. All lecture. However, all of his exams are take-home. All answers are essays, though. In his English Novel class we had to write a paper as well. Pretty easy grader. Just put effort into what you're writing and you'll do fine.

I am impressed with how much Dr. Lewis knows about his subjects. He makes us laugh while explaining the material in a way that we can understand. He gives lectures for the entire hour and 15 minutes of class, but I actually didn't mind sitting through it, because he has passion for what he does.
