He is super nice and will let you take the test when youre ready if you missed test day. He was NEVER late except once his subway got delayed somewhere. You think hes going on some tangent sometimes but a lot of the time it ended up on the test and if you read the textbook before he went over it in class you will do super well. Overall nice guy

Why is he still teaching? He will come into class an hour late and let you out late. He thinks the world and the class revolves around him. Sometimes he doesn't even show up to class! Avoid him at all costs unless you want to die of boredom. He's just terrible and uninspiring. Nothing on his tests reflect the course material.

This is a very caring professor, but maybe it was because it was a night class that I couldnt get into it. Not so clear about grading, but attendance is mandatory. You can still do well since his tests are open book.

He's kind of a flake and easily distracted from actual class topics. Like others say, he's often late, encourages random topics, kind, personable, but in the end, I learned very little. Extremely laid back. A little frustrating if you want to actually learn because he lacks structure.

He definitely knows his stuff where cognitive psyche is concerned. It's a 3 hr class so it does get boring. Easy class if you keep up with the readings, no papers only a midterm and final.

Love him! i take him whenever possible, he knows his stuff but makes it your choice to be there or not. He lectures the whole time so if you want to learn pay attention if not zone out. he gives no homework, and usually a reasonable midterm & final. a very down to earth man that when you get to know has alot to offer!

he is a very easy professor. open book midterm and final. he tries very hard to keep the class enaged but does not work for him that well. he is a very nice professor, he comes in late all the time so dont bother coming in on time becasue he never does.

Not interesting at all. Very boring and always unprepared to engage the class in some serious textbook material. He's a nice guy, but that does not compensate for his lack of being able to teach.

Easy professor...too easy if you ask me. Take home midterm and final with no in-class discussion involved. Easy A, but definately not worth the money if you ask me. I'm looking to learn something, not be bored on a Monday evening.

Knows his stuff. Open book tests are easy if you've kept up with the reading. Classes seem to wander off topic but everything gets tied together in the end.

Research Methodology is a boring subject on it's own, so if you want to take it easy for this class take him, he gives 3 open book tests, research paper, and one presentation based on your paper. Really easy, and he is a extremely sweet and nice professor.

If only he could have been a little more clear, I would have declared that this is one of the best and nicest professors that you can meet. Three open book tests & one huge paper, but the paper is easy. All info is mostly from the articles that you research. Nice guy, but needs to work on clarity.

Professor Swierczewski is very easy on the grades, but oddly enough, I learned a lot from him. He knows his stuff, and transmits the knowledge well. He is just not hung up on heavey-handed grading.

Not bad at all. I'd rather have him for research than any other pro. True he's unclear, yet this class is hard by itself. He gave open book tests, a take home final and a very big research paper to write. But all of this seemed easy. Nice personality too.
