Dr. Deb was hands down the best teacher Ive ever had. She is funny, inspiring, and a fantastic artist. Lets be real this class is hard, and when I say hard, I mean lots of reading and memorization. I cannot imagine learning the amount of information we did in that semester and enjoying as thoroughly, as I did without Dr. Deb.

Very smart/wise woman. She makes the hard material a bit easier to learn. I enjoy going to her class, I have learned a lot from it. If you study, do homework, attend to class you will probably will get a good grade. She is accesible after class and in her office hours.

First of if you don't like Dr. Barnes i really couldn't trust you as a person. Not only is she the best lecturer I have ever had, she has completely empowered me to go beyond what I have ever felt comfortable with. Please don't miss the chance to take her b/c you are looking for an easy A. If you read, show up and study her lectures an A is doable

Dr. Deb is one of THEE BEST and Hottest teachers I've ever had. I've never enjoyed learning so much and never left a class wanting to learn more. Her lectures are ridiculously entertaining, it keeps you engaged the entire time. I wish she was teaching physiology, I'd be the first one signed up. She's the best!!!!!

There was so much material covered that attendance is imperative. There is no textbook required, instead she uses a lab manual that was written by her. Very intelligent teacher and she really knows her stuff but her teaching style is not for everyone! She talks really fast and is intimidating, making it difficult to ask questions.

Dr. Barnes was the best teacher I ever had, hands down. She addresses all areas of learning, audible, visual, and hands-on. She only test on what she goes over. Office hours and eager to see her students succeed. Gives a categories points and percentages for quizzes so that you can study up on higher ranking categories and move down the list.

Deb is one of the inspirational people I have ever met. I never thought I could do so well science class and her willingness to go out of her way for her students and answer questions gave me the confidence and knowledge to pursue my science degree. If you work your ass off and go to class you will do well. DEB IS THE BEST!!! I BELIEVE!!!

Dr. Barnes is absolutely amazing. I am sad that she will no longer be teaching at CCC, but am very pleased that i had the luxury of having her for two semesters. I had her for both Anatomy and Physiology. I love her dance with the 3 NA+ out 2 K+ in. She gives a lot of work, but she is only prepping you for the real thing.

Professor Barnes is amazing - hands down the best professor I've ever had. I was told by folks who had taken anatomy elsewhere to expect only boring memorization, but the class so much better than that! Prof Barnes really wants all students to succeed, is passionate and hilarious about the subject, and tries to appeal to all learning styles.

SHE IS THRE BEST BIO TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! You will learn so much from her. She has a wealth of knowledge. She is passionate, friendly, and definitely not boring. BEST BIO TEACHER IN SCHOOL. Has a great energy that makes her class fun. She wont hand you an "A" but she will help you with anything you need to do well in her class. She doesn't make attendance mandatory but if you miss to many classes your lost.
