Comment:

Professor Hance is one if yeh few professors that has done it all. He is more interested In helping you earn a rewarding career than he is in giving you standardized tests, which is very rare. In order to do well in his classes, you must not slack off. Do the readings before class, participate in class, study sessions ect, I would take him again.

Comment:

Having Mr. Hance was refreshing in that he really trusts the students to be honest about working problems and taking tests properly. He gave us most of the solutions to homework and tests ahead of time, so make sure you really understand whats going on in the problems instead of using memorization.

He's great. Imagine the perfect professor that gives you all the knowledge you need and grades fairly. His lectures are engaging and he truly cares about your knowledge and employment. He'll help you with anything anytime.

If I could take Dennis for every engineering class I would! He is an amazing professor that deserves more recognition on what he does for the students! If you show up for class, work hard you will be fine in his classes! He also wants to make sure students succeed and one way he does that by helping them get internships!

Dennis is a great teacher. He's hardworking, inspirational, and knowledgeable in EVERY subject he teaches. If you work hard you'll get an A. I did find it hard to connect with him at times though, he seems to have a group of favorites in each class, which can be frustrating. He can come off as a bit rash sometimes, but don't take it the wrong way.

BEST engineering professor at Wright State. Take him for ANY class you possibly can, if you want to learn the subject to extreme depth, with relative ease and hard work, and earn an A, Dennis will get you there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

By far the best professor I have ever had and probably will ever had. He comes off as very intimidating but it doesn't take long to see that he is actually a very caring and nice guy and unlike many, GENUINELY wants you to succeed.

Dennis is an amazing man and professor. He knows what he is talking about and makes sure that the things he teaches are things that will help in the real world. Genuinely cares about his students and will help however he can. tests are tough but he usually grades them leniently. my favorite :)

The absolute epitome of what a college professor SHOULD be. Interesting, funny, and very, VERY hard working. Inspirational and actually cares about his students. I would recommend you take this professor for every class possible. Will try his best to relate topics to the real world, and will help you get a job. Actually try and you will do well.

I would gladly take another class with Dennis in my opinion he is everything a college professor should be, funny entertaining, informative, resourceful, still a great clear instructor and very helpful with all sorts of issues. He'll also help get you employed if interested.

Dennis is a great professor, and a great person in general. He can come off stern, no biggie though. Class time was spent working WITH him on assignments, so no students were left behind. If you're a slow-pace or fast-pace student, he is a great professor for both. Spend time on material outside of class and come into class early, you're golden.

Amazing man, has some really interesting stories from his life. Great man and Professor. He believes hard work and diligence are key to success and will expect that of you. If you work hard in his class you will earn at least a B.

Very intelligent, kind, and funny person, he is also very helpful. I have never paid attention to a professor as much as him. His tactic is to overwhelm you at first to keep you operating at your best, but then he scales down. I had a smile on my face every time I walked to his class. I have a great deal of respect for him.

A very intelligent man. He is very willing to help his students and has a harsh sense of humor. That being said, his humor is hysterical to people like myself. Don't be lazy, late, or asleep in class and you will likely enjoy his quality of teaching.

Seems like a nice guy at first... but is VERY rude. Its his way or the highway. DON'T get on his bad side or he will make your life miserable. However, on material he does a descent job at teaching. He loves giving quizzes. And If he likes you he will do anything to help you do well. I wouldn't take him again if I didn't have to.
