Comment:

He is clearly very intelligent with good intentions, but a horrible teacher. He has great difficulty staying on topic in class and barely covers any of the material he expects you to know. He'll take a simple topic, go on a tangent with it, and make it very difficult to understand. Just avoid taking a class taught by him.

Comment:

I had him for Probability and Statistics, and he was quite possibly the worst professor I have ever encountered. Terrible EI, taught proofs when they weren't necessary. He confused everyone in our class, and refused to slow down. If you get him, prepare yourself for a bad semester.

Comment:

An extremely nice guy but his teaching is difficult to follow. He teaches way more than necessary and spends time on useless topics. Very tough grader, easily the hardest Matrix Theory prof. Long HW's once a week, but tests are from the HW problems. Work hard and you will be okay, as long as you are really putting maximum effort into it.

Although this was the hardest class I have ever taken, he gave me a foundation in mathematics that will carry me through my entire college career. He prepares you to work no matter the class. It takes A LOT of work. Also, he will give you your grade based on effort. If you try hard and have an understanding of the material, he could give you an A.

Very intelligent man, but he teaches way over the top. He is very hard to understand and turns an simple concept into a mind-f#$k. His quizzes and tests are extremely hard and he gives no partial credit. There is something wrong with his teaching style when the class avg is 52%. Your grade depends completely on the Final exam = 40% of your grade.

He is a awesome & super intelligent man. However, he gives ridiculous quizzes and exams. Even after taking this class as an advanced placement class I practically failed. My final grade was a C, however, my highest exam grade & final exam grade was a D. He's a research professor so he doesn't exactly teach, he basically expects you to already know.

If you get him you better have taken the course in college or high school before hand, other wise you're in trouble. Students pretty much teach themselves and get confused by his teaching. Quizes all the time, extremely difficult tests, all hope comes down to the final. If you get him start thinking about shooting yourself in the foot. good luck!

This guy is hard. His tests are impossible, he's confusing as hell, and when u ask a question he relates it to an impossible problem and just confuses you more. He gives terrible help and his hard to understand. Good luck!

One word: Lost. After the first two weeks, everything just spiraled down the drain as he confused most of the class in his lectures..made things harder than they seemed, and the tests were ridiculous. If ur not proficient in calc, the tests will probably take u an hour and a half-def not recommended

The guy is a genius and even though he will try and help he will probably lose you in conversation. He definately knows his material but had insanely hard test and quizzes. Your final grade will be your grade for the class unless he knows your an A student.

Dude is a pretty rough teacher...like when you ask questions he gives you a harrrd quiz. Makes easy concepts seem hard and confusing. However, if you get an A on tests/final, he'll give you that grade.
