Loved this class! Just such a great environment for creativity and learning. I love all the short films we watch and the little activities we do, such as writing dream journals or eaves dropping on people's conversations, to help us think more creatively. I feel like it is a really great class to get inspired and write some scripts!

Diane is the sweetest. You'll enjoy being in class and she really cares about your work. However, she isn't the best critiquer. You have SO much time to write in the class, but I never felt fully critiqued on my work. However, if you just want to write, take her class. if you want to be torn apart to become a better writer, look elsewhere.

Diane is the absolute best professor i've had at emerson. She really cares about every student, and basically gives you the opportunity to get an A. TAKE HER CLASS (even if it is an 8am)

Diane is wonderful. She's such a kindhearted person and she knows her stuff. She concentrates on helping you produce a solid writing portfolio, which is wonderful. I loved this class, take it if you can.

Diane's a really caring professor who wants you to succeed. She gives you freedom to write what you want, holds useful workshops, and has good feedback. She will help you even if you've finished the class and just want to write on your own. Definitely worth taking with her.

It's too bad this class is being taken out of the curriculum at Emerson. If you can find a way to take Diane at some point, please do so. She's like a gentle jewish grandmother. Her class is relaxing, engaging, fun, and stimulating. Could stand to be more challenging, but one of the best courses I've taken so far at Emerson.

Diane is great. Shes very caring and easy to get along with. She understads personal problems, but forces you to think creatively at the same time. Diane makes the curriculum easy, and I would reccommend her for any creative class. Work load is easy, fun, new and creative

Diane is very flexible with due dates and assignments. The only one of VMA basic requirement class that I took where it WASN'T focused entirely on film and tv/video majors. She's very supportive and encouraging, and we did some amusing class exercises.

Awesome class-im not big on writing and i loved it. very flexible with dates/structure of the class. fosters creativity and creates a nice, comfortable class enviroment. I recommend her strongly for concept development.
