He has a mono tone voice which makes it kind of hard to stay forced. But he is REALLY helpful if you go to his office hours. Do the reads and pay attention to details in the lectures you?ll do good. one of my fav prof

Monotone voice makes him very boring. But he loves geography and if you listen he is rather funny. Will help you out. Lab assignments are very easy, same with final (as long as you attend the lectures). Very nice man.

Very nice and easy-going prof. Lab assignments are pretty straight forward, though he is picky about certain things. Final exam was very fair. Lectures may bore you.

He's very helpful and responsive to your questions when you ask him in person and/or email. BUT...Beware of the projects, he marks very hard. If u wanna do well on the proj make sure u talk to him to make sure u're working in the right direction, otherwise u'll be unpleasantly surprised when u see ur grade!

Don is a great guy, he is so cute and funny he makes us giggle. WARNING: Lectures are really really boring. At least 3-4 people sleep through each one. If he could speak better or faster it would be a great course. Just soooooooo boring!!Bring a pillow folks

He's a good professor. He knows his material very well. He might be a tough marker and makes you work hard to earn the grade, but he's not the way many have described him to be. I'd recommend this course.

Nice guy, but he is partially deaf and his lectures are zzzzzzzzzz. However, this course is Cultural Geography after all - Not exciting stuff! Don is a fair marker and not a lot of effort is required to get a good mark. I'm a 4th year student with a 3.5 GPA. If you still need to complete your upper liberals, take another course.

He is a super nice prof, but watch out!!! EXTREMELY, and i cannot stress that enough, HARD MARKER! no matter how much effort goes into an essay expect max of B- Course didn't seem too hard, but the readings were disorganized, and the book totally****ty! He is very helpful though and sends notes by e-mail, and gives a good study sheet for final.

Not a hard class. Make sure you go with an A or A+ in the final, because it will lower your grade. I went with an A- and after the final i ended with a B-. The course is not hard, but the final is.

Pretty straightforward lecturer, forget the readings because the in class notes are exactly all you need. And he does kill you on the final.

you come into this class thinking its gonna be hard. then he makes it seem like its super easy from all the 10/10s you get from the labs, so you feel safe. then the major assignment comes and bam! you're avg drops...then the final comes and KABLAMO! you basically leave the course thinking WTF!

Nice guy that shows his true colours on the final. You can go in with an A+ and leave with a D. Studying and lecture attendance won't help.

This guy was very nice and talks you into the class but he kills you on your final exam... you can go from an A to an D in two hours in this class. He put stuff on the final exam that is not in the textbook nor he talks about in class, so it's pretty bad. But you'll do go on your labs which is 50%.

This guy is so boring. He talks as if the person is right beside him. We can't hear him at all. However, he is pretty easy though. So if you can get through his lectures and learn from them, you'll do fine.
