Comment:
If you're looking for a class just for credits, take this one. He doesn't put much passion into his teaching, probably because he is part of administration and is close to retirement. His tests aren't too hard if you study for them. The only annoying thing was that some test questions were about specific graphs in the textbook.

Worst professor I have ever had in SUNY Albany. He will make dumb jokes at all times no matter how serious the times are. Now only that but the test average for his class was 40%. The only thing that will save you from passing is the curve. All his tests consist of multiple choice questions that are all about concepts from the textbook

There's a huge curve for all the tests and I literally did not study for them at all and did fine. It's an easy B if your a slacker or A if you normally get A's.

A lot of people do not like Prof. Sattinger, but I thought he was a good teacher for microeconomics. The homework was oftentimes tricky, but the tests were generally easy. It also helps to listen to his lectures and take notes because he explains concepts oftentimes better than the textbook. Good professor.

tests are easy and people don't study and blame him for their own problems. Read the textbook before doing the homework and it's an easy A. Homeworks are excessive at times but it's a big part of the grade. Drops homeworks, helps with the icliker questions. 10+ point curve at the end. All you need is a combined 82 for an A

Test averages are usually in the 60s. He curves the final grades. Sattinger is not very respected by students and his lectures can often be boring. Online Aplia is required and it can sometimes be very difficult, but good practice for the test. I found the textbook to be very helpful

No one really likes him. Lectures are so-so. Doesn't seemed like he wanted to help. All he wants to do is go over his slides. No extra time in class for questions. Review sessions were always at a conflicting time. Our finals review session was at 10 in the morning on reading day, mind that the dining halls doesn't open till 11.

He is the worst, he makes no sense during his lectures. He laughs at all his stupid jokes. He doesn't teach you anything and then assigns online homework on it. If you have him go to a tutor asap. Worst professor ever. He gives a wicked curve at the end, I hope it will save you.

Here's what you need to know. I graduated high school with roughly a 92 average, econfinancebusiness is my strong suit ... so for this class his exams were easy but a few questions are quite tricky. 3 exams, final is NOT cumulative but does consist about 9 chapters (when i took this class) I got a B overall because of not going to class

Got an A in this class, but definitely not because of him. He is so confusing in class, he makes things overly complicated. The homework is really hard. Tests aren't too bad. Buy the book and read every chapter the class covers. If you don't you'll be lost. Class test averages were 60something, 58 and 55. If averages are that low you know he's bad.

Absolutely the worst professor I have ever had. In therms of lectures and tests he is slightly fair, but when it comes to the online homeworks they are extremely hard and you have to teach yourself everything that he doesn't cover on the lectures. Choose another professor, you'll thank me

Professor Sattinger is a great professor who is unfairly assessed by many. He is a very kind professor who is willing to work with students. His lectures are very informative, and so long as you listen in class his tests are very simple to understand.

Really bad professor, lectures seem to make sense and are easy to follow but the tests and homework are incredibly difficult, take another professor if you can because this class is very difficult.

Honestly, this isn't one of the clearest courses. The homeworks were extremely difficult. The class averages for each test was incredibly low. Unless you have some prior knowledge relating to Microeconomics, switch out of this guy. He has a funny laugh though.

Way too difficult for a 100 level class average on the first exam was around a 60 and on the second exam it was a 48. Online homework not coordinated with lecture and is very difficult. Honestly a very bad professor, doesn't explain things well at all
