This teacher rocks! I think I will take her for any other class she teaches. She is so understanding to the students, she is attractive, which makes going to class important. Also she post reviews for tests which tells you what she's looking for. Attendance is added to the grade and the final isn't cumulative which helps. TAKE HER!!

Great professor and is very organized. Open to students, which creates a great level of comfort throughout her class, making her very approachable if you ever need help with anything. Highly recommended you take a class with her, if I could take more, I definitely would!

Myriam is very insightful about social issues that matter (or should matter) to students. She is conscious that this country is not perfect, but she is carries a positive tone for students to overcome its fallacies. The class structure overall was quite easy: no textbook material-all exams based on lecture notes (which are not hard to follow).

An awesome professor...I specially enjoyed and laughed at her examples when she incorprated her life expereinces to make it intersting and amusing. Exams are easy...she reviews every single question that will be on the exams. Take notes and you will be fine. I took her for 3 Sociology classes and I attained A's in everyone.
