Great class. Fairly laid back, interesting, and a nice guy. About 1 homework assignment a week and 3 tests. If you show up and understand the material, it's an easy class.

Comment:

Gives you a run-through of the problems in class that you will see on the exam -- your numbers will ALWAYS differ, he makes small mistakes because he moves quickly. Make sure you take notes on how to do the problemscalculations! First exam is the hardest, last two exams are quantitative and easy as long as you have worked through the problems.

Very nice professor. I love him! Listen carefully on class and take GOOD notes, homework will not be a problem at all, even if theres a lot. He teaches things very clearly and he will explain some personal experiences in this field. Very chilled, and ask him questions after class if you are interested in anything.

All the quiz are in-class and open answer, meaning everyone in class has to agree on the final answer. Most likely he will just give it to you. The quiz and exams are worded differently so you must understand the concepts and take notes! The book was useless for the summer class. Very knowledgeable professor and will help answer ALL questions. A+

Yes he was boring, But a great guy. He's very friendly, and helps students out if you have questions. Quizzes are helpful for the exam, but on the exam he switched the quiz question around. So make sure to really understand the question/answer.I like that he answers E-mails immediately. Make sure to do all x-credit's, they will bring your grade up

Comment:

Huffman is a very friendly and nice prof, always willing to help his students. The materials are dry, but his notes helps. Exam Q's are derived from the quizzes on Bb, they looks like the same, but actually not, so you have to read them carefully, especially the T/F Q's. Go to the classes as possible, he gives unannounced quizzes as extra credits.

Bring your pillow and get ready for dream land. THis guy goes on and on in the same monotone voice during lectures. Nice guy though extremely boring. Exams literally based on quizzes and attendance not mandatory.Study hard though with this one!

Probably the worst teacher I had in Fox so far - extremely boring and his lectures drag on. Majority of his test are the exact same questions as his quizzes so you can just memorize them. Would not recommend anyone that has interest in the subject to take him because you wont learn a thing

SO BORING. I remember hearing snoring all the time. EVERYONE was asleep during the class. It was only 50 minutes, felt like an eternity. I like that attendance wasn't mandatory, and students shared quizzes by E-mail. Quizzes were easy, but not the exam. EXAM was hard. I'd never take him again. NICE GUY, BUT WAY TO BORING to PAY ATTENTION. ZZZZZZZ

Great teacher, what more is there to say about this teacher. Very realistic, down to earth (unlike most robotic teachers) Huffman knows his stuff. Hopefully, if you're reading this Huffman, I hope to do Real Estate business with you down the future, that's how confident I am about this guys knowledge in this subject.

I took him for the 1st finance. He is very easy, you just need to go through all of his outlines, and fill in the blanks when you read along with the text. I even used the old edition. Just make outlines for the chapters and study them for the test. After doing all the outlines I would do the quizzes and get 100. Go to his office so he knows u too!

I hate anything that has to do with finance and accounting, so I knew I would overall hate the class but Huffman is a great guy. He's really good about helping you with any questions and does take into consideration if you DO come for help! He's got a good sense of humor.

Very nice guy. He is helpful if you ask questions. His tests are kind of difficult but you should do quizes before the exams and you'll be fine.
