I LOVED MR. LEMAY!!! He had the best, most interesting math lectures ever, and was willing to spend 10+ minutes right after class just to discuss math problems with me. Overall amazing especially if you are passionate about math!

Professor LeMay is awesome! I recommend anyone to take him at every level of math. He is patient, knowledgeable, funny and he wants to see everyone master whatever topic he lecture on. Do your homework, show up to class and I guarantee you that you will pass his course. He explains everything so clear.

He is very knowledgeable about the subject. I've never struggled with math, but he made the class even easier than I expected. Explains materials very well and in an interesting way. Logarithims were hardly a challenge. He is very accessible online, not in person.

One of the best math professors Ive ever had! He explained the materials well and always answered your questions. He made learning math very easy. He also was very responsive on email and always updated BB. Wish he taught other math classes.

Great instructor! Algebra is a bit difficult for me and I was worried about taking this required course. As long as you attend class, do your homework, and attempt the bonus work you will do fine. He's been teaching a long time and loves what he does. If you put in the effort he will make sure you succeed.

Mr. LeMay was an excellent professor, I have always had a hard time in math classes, and he helped me a great deal. I definitely still needed to study hard but he gave me all of the resources that I needed, and provided excellent study guides for tests. I think that he is a great Teacher! and he genuinely cares if you are successful or not.

Great teacher. Very active on blackboard and responsive via email. Posts the homework you will get on BB already finished so you can fallow along with a few to remember how to do it. The material can be pretty tough for 1650 in general but he makes learning it cake. Given more than you need to pass and good feedback. Wish he taught higher lvl math!

I took this class after being out of HS for 6 years and LeMay made it as though I were hardly rusty at all. The textbook is free, although a bit hard to understand at times. He explains things clearly and has good empathy toward peoples' way of thinking, which makes his explanations and help very useful and effective.

I am HORRIBLE at math. He's hands down one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is NOT an instructor; he is by every definition of the word a TEACHER. I only wish all my professors had as much passion to teach as this guy. A true credit to his profession, ranks in my top 3 of best teachers I've ever had. They don't make 'em like him anymore.

If you are like me and have had difficulty in math (failed or took remedial classes) TAKE FRANK LEMAY!!! He is one of the BEST teachers I've ever had, hands down. He wants everyone to not only pass, but master the material. He gives you extra time to turn in homework or missed quizzes, and even teaches you THE LEMAY WAY (a shortcut, it's awesome!)

Absolutely wonderful. Can't believe this guy is retired from teaching HS and still has such passion for teaching. Explains & demonstrates everything AT LEAST twice. Doesnt rely on the book for teaching - just uses it for HW problems. WILL NOT move on if you speak up to say you dont understand. I will go out of my way to take another class with him.
