This guy is a liberal psycho. His thinking is completely disconnected from reality and he sometimes has trouble controlling his anger which erupts in incomprehensible rages. With the exception of his biased politics, his class is completely forgettable and will have zero impact on my life or educational growth.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors ever. Brilliant, great knowledge, opinionated, thought provoking, clever. Have fun with him. Tests are a bit challenging but the class overall is not too hard.

Served in the WA state congress and now thinks he is the king of the world. All he does is talk about himself. Goes off on tangents the entire class period and will forget what lecture he gave the day before so he will give it again.

Comment:

Prof. Hughes is a great guy. He is extremely helpful and very sweet. He does like participation from his class so speak up and have an opinion. The tests are a bit challenging if you miss class, but overall I recommend any course taught by this guy!!

It's a good class ... he quizes/tests straight outta lecture, so I wouldn't recommend skipping his class. I've learned so much from him, too. He used to be a senator, so he knows how it really goes.

Extremely knowledgable and offers great insight into many topics. His lectures are interesting and he encourages debate, yet he is very stuck in his own opinion and tends to wander off the subject, but expects you will know the info for the exam.
