He is very boring! He talks quietly and at the end of his sentences he sort of trails off. Other than that his class is easy; follow his outlines, give your speech(make sure it meets the time requirements) and you're good to go. For his exams, all the answers are in the lectures or you could read the key points in his book.

He's a clear professor and makes it known what is expected from day one. Make sure you follow instructions for all your speeches and as long as you include everything you will be fine. He is a fair grader, but can be a little tough. He gets back to you quickly and is more than willing to meet to talk about grades, etc.

Best professor at ODU. He is very clear from day one what is expected. He is very willing to take time to meet with you and answer all questions. He calls this the "facebook class" so take it! It's interesting and we got to watch movies a lot.

Dr. Schnell was one of the best professors i had my freshman year. the material is easy to understand, and the answers to his tests come straight out of the book. if you read and do the assignments, then you'll be fine. too many people in my class complained about him only offering 100 points that semester, but an A is earned, not given away.
