Professor Malcolm is probably one of the funniest professors ive had at my first year at NLC. he jokes around with you,makes you feel comfortable in that class,and he makes you work for your grade. very reasonable and understanding. I loved his class. If I saw him at a bar in the near future I'd buy him a drink he's such a cool guy

Comment:

Enjoyed P. Malcolm very much. He always chose interesting stories out of the textbook. If you do the reading you will ace the quizzes. There were a number of essays that he would fairly. Don't slack off in class.

He funny but business is business. Took the summer, small article to read and a quick easy quiz, read it twice and you get an easy 100. Grades upon your work, obviously liberal and creates a student-centered class. Uses the book but not a lot, a presentation at the end, test is writing an essay, he walks you through.. You need to work for an A.

He keeps things interesting through humor and and integrating pop culture. Those who find him unhelpful are usually on a junior-high level of learning. He expects you to function on a college level and will not bother if you're not. This is fair, considering EVERYONE has to take an entrance exam of some sort.

Jason is a good, interesting teacher however I have some comments about the coursework. First, there is alot of work in this class such as reading quizzes every class, 4 essays and a final 6 pg essay handwritten in class on boring topics. Do not take if writing long essays on boring stories, poems, and plays is not your thing.

Most people love Malcolm. However, I didn't care much for him. He doesn't explain things well and always rushes you when you go to him for help. He is really fun though and likes to joke, but don't let it fool you. He's a harsh grader. I made my A, but most of my class didn't do as well as they expected and weren't happy at the end of the semester

AWESOME!!!! Took him for Childrens Lit! He gives quizzes over the reading everyday so you HAVE to read! We had 3 papers....one was a project! You should take him!!! He's great!

Very good teacher that I would recommend. Attendance is a big thing in this class. If your a person that is late to class or doesn't show up 3 or 4 times a month then don't bother taking his classes because you will get dropped! Quizzes are easy as long as you do the readings and essays are gone over well in class and he answers all questions.

Very good teacher. He relates to the students through things that everyone's interested about, not just older people (politics and whatnot). Very good guy that will go out of his way to make sure everyone knows what's going on, though it's very easy to side track him with stories and movie trivia. Overall a great teacher!

THIS PROF WAS HARDLY FAIR. IT SEEMS AS IF HE HAS FAVORITES. I WAS ALWAYS THERE AND WAS ALWAYS ON TIME. I TRIED MY BEST TO DO TURN ALL THE ASSIGNMENTS AND I SHOWED AN EFFORT FOR EVERYTHING. THIS MAN STILL FAILED. I TRIED TO DROP IN TIME BUT HE SAID I WAS FINE. HE DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME A BREAK FOR MY EFFORTS.
