Best Professor at hunter! Take him if you want an easy (not really you kind of have to really read and study) but he is an awesome and FUN professor! HE is passionate and opinionated but i love him!

LOVED HIM! he makes you read but explains the whole novel literally! we also read in class whichis a plus for those that forget to read from time to time. Exams are easy because he tells you exactly what he will ask. HE teaches in all english but will asked the class if they know spanish IF the whole class knows spanish he will teach in it.

Took him for his English DR Identity class. Beware: if you do not know Spanish, avoid him at all costs. He speaks spanish at times without realizing it. Heavy textbook use, but does not allow you to disagree with him. If you understand Spanish, you'd love him, else you would find the course much harder than it actually is.

He is an awesome prof. I took both his classes, and he makes the class super interesting and the people who usually sign up for the classes are really cool. Downside he makes you do a lot of reading, but he explains everything very well, even if you missed the readings, just dont miss readings when its a novel

He is the nicest person in the world but his class is a BORE. We had to read 3 books by julia alvarez, & write a paper on 1 he assigned. Books are interesting but he makes us read them in class like grade school. Made us come up with the topic for the paper based on a book never discussed in class. He is an easy grader. Midterm, final and paper.

This professor is the best and he makes any Dominican proud to be Dominican. The class is easy to pass you just have to do the reading and go to class and participate. The class is fun and very helpful. Only on paper at the end of the semester and the tests are easy. Take the class.

I had Perdomo for Dominican Identity and Dominican Literature. Both classes were great. Clearly, his Dominican Literature class was better because he taught it in Spanish. The Identity class was in English and didn't have the same "island" flavor. In any case, I love him! He is very nice and is welling to very willing to help a student out.

STAND UP GUY! He was cool, he just kept saying Oye loco all the time...he would end class early to go and play in his merengue band. Strangely he kept asking me if "I had the stuff..." I never figured out exactly what he meant. He always just tapped the side of his nose and said I got that! All in all, GREAT PROFESSOR.
