Not gunna lie, New Testament at 8am sucked.. but he made it awesome. I don't know anything about the Bible but I do now b.c of this guy! If you study and read like you're instructed you;ll make an A. He is the man! he even took us to this little jewish church type thing and it was very cool! i dont know what happen to him though.. he disappeared!

Dr. Dant is amazing! I looked foward to going to every class, even at 8AM. He's not teaching in the Spring and may not be hired back, but if he is, TAKE HIM! Lecture is always interesting; quizzes are easy; tests are challenging, but he's VERY good on grading (I made an A on every test). His Final Exam is great! I'd definitely take him again.

I loved Dr. Dant! Even at 8 am he made the New testament very interesting. Funny guy, easy papers, and a great final. I learned so much from him (when I did stay awake) and I may even take his Old test. class if I have extra time.

Amazing guy and great professor ... probably one of the best I've had at Mercer so far. If he's teaching a semester and not on "break" ... definitely take him!!! I wish he taught upper level courses! His lectures are fun, his papers are easy, and his tests are easy if you take the time to study.

He will make you want to learn, but you have to be willing. Don't expect just to cruise, but if you do the work, he'll reward you. New Testament was such a fun class (even at 8 AM!). Great prof. Great guy. Hilarious.

By far the best professor I have ever had! He's nice, funny, and extrememly intelligent. His tests aren't really easy but by comparision to other classes are not difficult. Had an open bible exam and he brought us doughnuts...what more could you want? Wonderful man!

He made the class enjoyable. He needs to learn how to make students think without using outdated cornering tactics. Overall, I would definitely recommend this doctor. By the way, don't date his daughter; he doesn't like that.

Don't let past students fool you. Dr. Dant is not easy. The lectures are organized and clear but often force you to think in unique directions about difficult bible texts and topics. He's not bad to look at for an old guy.

Lectures can get deep and the material is not easy. However, the class "feels" easy because Dr. Dant makes you "want" to learn. He really loves the Hebrew Scriptues (Old Testament) and he makes you love it too. (Great eyes...)

TAKE THIS CLASS!!! Dr. Dant is possibly the coolest person on campus (although he's not really on campus...he's an adjunct). Knows everything about the New Testament!
