He gives the worksheets which are very helpful. And majority of the quiz come from those sheets. Just do homework, and solve problems from worksheet you will be okay for Final or Midterm and can easily get good grade.

Professor Estrada is a wonderful teacher. Follow his lectures do your homework and you will do great. He gives study guides for quizzes and tests. He has open office hours for help if needed, also answers emails extremely fast.

Online class. Its easy. You need to finish all the homework and take the quiz due every two week. Study the practice quiz and practice homework. You will get 90-100%. One semester only 8 quiz & 8 homework. He post the final exam on D2L then print/scan upload on D2L. Final exam is different from hw and quiz. try your best.

Juan is an amazing teacher. The group projects look very similar to the quizzes and tests. If he sees you are trying in his class but struggling he will do anything to help you. He studied w/ me on Sundays because I couldn't make it to office hours, to help me pass and I did! if you struggle w/ math take Juan he will help you! & make sure to do HW.

Hmm analysis class was tough, maybe the material itself is an unfamiliar math concept. Clearly grading, 6 homework, 5 quiz, 1midterm and 1final. No extra credit. DON'T SKIP CLASS. The textbook doesn't help but the lecture has everything. He curves tho, so you'll pass if you're getting like a D range lol. Half of my class literally failed the final.

Best math instructor I've had. Funny. Clear expectations. Great lectures. Dry sense of humor. Attending ch lass is necessary for passing. Most of your grade comes from your midterm and final, so that's a little high pressure.

Professor Juan is a great professor, and he is an organised maths teacher, he makes the course easier. He puts much attention to the important topics, and if you are hard worker, he is your professor. He uses easier ways so that you can easily remember formulas and concepts. Projects, homeworks, quize, final can be given, an excellent professor....

Very straightforward teaching method. Here's the subject matter, here's the homework. Homework was always 100% relevant to subject matter. Very accessible for help when needed. What I loved about mymathlab and the instructor is that you can work ahead as much as you want with the exception of midterm and final.

This was an online class, so I feel that a lot was lost by not having an in person lecture. There really was no lecture, it was mostly just watching Kahn Academy videos and doing quizzes and homework off My Math Lab. Print out all of your homework assignments before your quizzes. Final and midterm contained material not covered in class. Overall OK

He is HARD! No calculators . Final exam was nothing like the practice final. If you don't remember everything, you're screwed! He is a nice guy and all, but sometimes he focuses too much on theory and not enough examples. Half the class gets less than a C on exams. Expect to focus 50% of your energy on this class!

Juan does a great job explaining complex concepts to students, and then everyone will understand the concept. If you get lost, he is open to questions and will go over the material in a different way to help you understand. Also great professor for meeting outside of class, if you are a bit more shy. Homework is easy points too! Lectures are great!
