Very helpful, crystal clear instructions. Dr. Tutt is an amazing band director who isn't afraid to have some personality. He is one of the reasons I am still a music major. The one draw back is that he gossips so do not share personal information with him.

Awesome conductor! Is not fond of students who won't think for themselves at all or students who try to use him to get around other faculty. I haven't done it, but I have seen it happen - he gets disappointed, then angry.

He is a character...slightly two-faced, though; quite hilarious and sociable within class, but a jerk if you come to his office with a question. He always answers e-mails and takes action on anything you need; he is also a great music advisor. As a conductor, he pushes the band to do his best; definatley has favorites. Overall a good guy.

This does not do justice-I cannot express in words how much I love having class with Dr. Tutt. He is an amazing person inside and outside of a classroom. Makes a 2 hour rehearsal fly by with his tangents, humor and making fun of certain people in our class. Take the risk and audition for concert band if you want to-I'd recommend him to ANYONE! :)

I really love Dr. Tutt because of his enthusiasm for teaching and making music! Concert band is SO much fun with him directing us. Honestly cannot say what I would have done if i did not join when he asked/begged me to-just to help out a section. If you are a music major/minor or nothing music related, take concert band just to be with Tutt!!!!! :)

Missed one day because I felt like**** and slept for 6 hours an accedent and he tretened to kick me out of the music program, then next semester he cut the size of the section I was in by one person and I didn't make it into the band. The person who filled my spot have never played that instument before. While I have been playing for over 6 years

Tutt is amazing!!! Yes, he can be a bit intimidating on the marching feild, but his amazing personality always makes up for it. Not only is he an amazing director, but he's an awesome person as well. He's definitely my favorite professor, and i admire him greatly. It's good to have him back after his little sickness!

Awesome director. Rehearsal is professional about 48 or 49 out of 50 minutes and otherwise Dr. Tutt has some funny moments. (which isn't in an unprofessional way) Very passionate about what he does, pushes students towards excellence. It's a pleasure to play in his band.

I don't think he likes me much, he yelled at me for leaving my cell phone on silent so I could see the screen a day after my dad had a stroke. GRRR! But over all class wasn't that bad.
