Her exams are weighted heavy on the final grade. She takes participation points off if you dont participate enough. Her lectures are boring. All she does is recite things out the book that you already read. She has the most assignments, pop quiz, online hmwk, paper, project, exams. She has 2 hours of office hours/week. The exams are HARD, no lie

8 week class, so I get that it has to be tougher than usual but her tests are like BOOKS. Her questions on tests are not clear or recognizable to what we talk about in class. She has three exams, the third being cumulative and to add on you have to take the Accounting Department exam. This class is meant to end your life.

Expect a very hard class, with timed exams. An exam every few week in ADP. Gives quizzes before she even lectures on the subject. Homework is her only good side. As long as you throw some numbers on papers it is full credit. She does not grade them, if you attempted it you got the 10 points. She is not enthusiastic about her job, very boring talker

Her test questions are vastly different from the questions found in the textbook and her questions are not clear in their meaning (not sure what she is asking) so you have to stop and ask her during the test. Not sure she can differentiate that outcome objectives for an entry level course should be vastly different from an intermed or adv course.

Don't even bother going to class. She doesn't teaches, she just gives what-if's. THREE exams worth 65% of your grade! You might as well do the book assignments, do Cengage and the "in-class" assignments, that aren't and get out of there! I have never heard one good thing about her teaching style. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Always helpful and easy to understand. Some of the course material is not very "real-world" stuff...I doubt it gets used much out there. Not her fault, though, and nevertheless she does a great job at teaching what she's given. If I were the one giving the grades, I'd prolly say A/A- One of the best professors at JU

I could not ask for a better professor. The class was challenging; however, the professor stuck by her offices hours and I was there ever chance I had. I would suggest taking this class prior to FIN534.

Outstanding professor. Finance was not a subject I had taken previously. She was a very clear lecturer, explained the problems clearly, and had a real passion for the topic. She invested lots of time on group projects (during office hours).
