Comment:

Dr. White was the first college professor I ever had, and boy did she set a high bar. She is such an angel and her class was so interesting. You could tell immediately by the first week that she was educated and passionate about what she does; I almost changed my major to English because of her! I definitely recommend taking one of her classes.

I took her for my Captstone class and it was a lot of reading, but the discussions were great and helped a lot when it came to the papers. She is really nice and passionate about what she is teaching. Would recommend.

I have never read more for a class than Children's Literature. They're easy reads but it takes up a lot of time and there are quizzes over every major text you have. This class is great, but I wouldn't take it unless you are required to or are an education major.

I really enjoyed her class; she's an amazing lecturer and is easy and fun to listen to. You still have to read outside of class, but it isn't an overwhelming amount, and you only have to do 2 short papers throughout the whole semester. She's an easy grader and is very kind; almost makes me wish I was able to take more of her classes.

I think that she was a good teacher, but the class was very lecture, which I think was interesting for a lit class. I think I could have learned more if she encouraged participation. The tests are online and essay questions. There is a quiz over most readings that luckily have extra credit questions as well.

Laura White and ENGL 231 was great. Just do your readings and go to class and you will definitely have an easy time passing. She always kept her lectures really interesting and knows so much about what she is lecturing so be prepared to learn! :)

Laura Whites ENG 231 is a wonderful class and she is an outstanding professor. Do the work and you're guaranteed and A. There are quizzes over readings and she tells you when they'll be come prepared and get a 100% every time. There is always extra credit on the quizzes. Lectures are awesome, she's hilarious.

She is awesome! Make sure you show up to class and take notes, though. While attendance may not be mandatory, what she says in class is ESSENTIAL to passing the tests (not to mention the tests are online, open-note). Just go. She's funny.

The class is a little harder than you would expect a 200 level class. There's lots of reading with 2 papers, the tests are online essays over the readings, and there are 10 quizzes. There is lots of extra credit, but you will need it to maintain your grade, because it is very easy to not do well on something and use it to save your grade.

Great professor who is very knowledgable on material. Great book selections, movies, group projects, and discussions. Quizzes over reading are easy, and the professor is an easy grader on the papers. Class was interesting, and fun. Teacher was nice, friendly, and extremely smart in her field. Highly recommend.
