You get a "Study guide" that is just a bunch of vocabulary. You learn 2-3 sections, take an exam, and repeat. No need to show up to class. Just study all the terms. Cant fail.

Professor Blevins' Government Class to be honest is SUPER EASY TO PASS. It is all about vocabulary. the thing is that you need to study it at home because he wont really go over it in class. Also, his lectures at the beginning are interesting, HOWEVER the rest is super boring so take MWF.I got a C becasue i underestimated the easiness of the course

Gives 5 Exams and all are about the VOCABULARY. REALLY EASY TO PASS!!! I studied the morning before the exam and pass with A's and B's. lectures due are kind of boring but he is funny. i Recommend to take his clas MWF becasue having him for an hour and 20 minutes TTr really kills me of boredom. So just Memorize Vocabulary and you'll pass

This guy HAS to be the greatest Professor to have ever walked the earth. From day one he has inspired me... Seriously a book should be written about this guy! He keeps you interested. My only complaint is that he likes to talk about how this generation doesn't listen to the news or care about politics. It's insulting especially when it is not true.

It's an honor to have someone with so much experience through out time with government teaching! His lectures coincide with the material, all you have to do is study the notes he gives you and you'll pass. NO HOMEWORK OR PROJECTS. Just Test

Ok lectures are a joke, he is interesting since he has seen so much Especially about politics but you dont need to attend class to pass it. Buy his notes and not the book, study the 100 some words and know them, usually you will have 2 weeks to learn them. Show up for the tests and you have a guaranteed A.

Mr Blevins is a great teacher! I learned a lot being in his classroom. Not only does he lecture but also shares stories, jokes, past experiences etc. (all educational of course) there are a whole lot of vocabulary words but I never complained because they were all on the test. Every flash card was on the test. Very nice man. Definitely recommend

Leon Blevins makes gov. interesting as well as simple. He applies real life solutions to gov. If you cannot handle lectures over book work stay home! Respect the man & if you're going to show up to class don't be a brat, he could be making you work!!! You'll be fine if you take the time to study as any class would except!

Very interesting man! He gives u little flash cards to study and that is literally your test! If your too lazy to memorize flash cards don't bother. Just show up to class for attendance and your good to go! - I studied in class! Definitely take this class.

Don't take this class, I don't recommended for you he just talk about his life and gives you a sheaf of papers to study, for each test you have memorize 200 words and he gives you 40 questions on test day. its hard Don't take It!

Mr Blevins is an interesting professor to say the least. He shows up to class dressed up as different historical characters and definitely makes going to class interesting. As long as you memorize the vocab you will do fine in his class.

He did not lecture us from the Govt book, rather he taught us from his "life" book. He spent alot of time telling us stories of his life experiences and how they tie into govt. Note cards are available which contain testable material. Study the cards in class while he entertains everyone and you'll do fine. Also gives plenty extra credit.

I don't understand how anyone can give Mr. Blevins a bad review. This class was extremely easy if you take the time to memorize the notecards. The only thing annoying was all the cutting we had to do. Mr. Blevins stories are funny and he's a cute little old man :) I highly recommend this teacher!
