Best teacher ive ever had. Truly cares about the students and their understanding of science. Not only is she a great teacher but is also an amazing person. Very good in lecture and super helpful in office hours. Ochem is very hard but she makes it bearable and fun to lean. If you work hard and do the work you will get a good grade. Great in lab!

Linda is seriously amazing. It's very clear she wants everyone to succeed in her class. She connects her lectures to real life so that we can actually use the information and understand it beyond the classroom. I would take her again in a heartbeat. Notecards are also allowed on tests.

Linda is AMAZING!! She changed the way I think about literally everything!! I passed the class with a 3.1 but I know I could have gotten a higher grade if I didn't get sick and have to miss. Go to class and put in the work and you should do great! She's very approachable and really wants her students to succeed. Definitely would take her again.

Linda is amazing! I took her class online this summer and was not disappointed. She's funny and really cares about us doing well, and though I didn't particularly need to go for help, she is very accessible! I would totally recommend her!

A very kind and supportive teacher. Her teaching is clear and easy. If you do homework then you should be fine in this class. Quizzes are a little hard but overall it's not too bad. Totally recommended

Linda is a wonderful professor who applies topics in class to the real world, keeping her class excited. Doing the homework and going to lecture is mandatory. Tests are fair and mirror homework/quizzes. She is also incredibly responsive outside of class - I work all day and cannot make office hours, so Linda quickly responded to 100% of my emails.

Linda is such a great professor. Chemistry is a difficult subject but she makes it easier to learn. She relates a lot of her lectures to things in real life which helps. Exams are fair regarding difficulty. I noticed some reviews were negative about her exams. You NEED to do homework and come to class. This goes for any chemistry class.

Great professor overall. She is always there to help you when you need her. Although she is a little unorganized in her lecture, you can catch up by reading the textbook. Attend class, listen to her lecture, do the homework, read the textbook and do practice questions before each exam and you should do fine!

Friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable but lectures and material organization are poor. Would be helpful to prep lecture notes on slides. Practice exams contain wrong answers. Count test points! Group work and attendance points make class required. Add time to watch Khan Academy. Not ideal for visual learners or learning disabilities.

Linda is one the best professor in SCC. I did not have a good grade in the class but pass it. I am taking again. I was impressed the first day of the class. Get ready to fail her class for the first time unless you are really good at chem. Tests are always tough and there are lot of % attached to exam. Homework and classwork barely bump your grade.

Very tough grader will take a points off for almost anything. Tests are extremely hard she even made it a point to remind us that more than 25% retake this class. 30% in our class were actually retaking it for second time. Nice but a very tough grader doesn't last two test avg was very low

Great professor. Highly recommend. Instruction is generally mostly normally pretty clear. She made the class fun and enjoyable. HW load seemed reasonable. Only complaint is she got semi off topic quite frequently, so our class was behind others. As with every STEM class, coming to the lectures and doing the HW is essential to succeeding.

Such a wonderful professor. Helpful, kind, interactive. She makes her lecture's interesting. Chem 121 is super hard, and I took it summer quarter and shouldn't have, but she graded us on the curve due to the low averages in the class overall. One of the best professors I've had!

Linda is one of the most helpful and wonderful instructor I have came across. The classes were super hard(organic chem)but she made it less difficult. Always read the text and practice test bank questions before taking the exams. She is also willing to help during office hours and through emails.I wish every science teacher was like her!!
