She was a good professor, but you have to work a little harder in this class. You wont pass if you dont read the textbook. Grade is based solely on 5 tests. Theyre all multiple choice. But read the book. I got a B. STUDY!!

I am an A student, but ended up with a C in the class. Michelle is mediocre, what she covers in class is NOT on the exams. It is 100% only the book on the exams (WHICH SHE NEVER DISCUSSES) She grades on 4 exams & one 25 point writing assignment. Attendance isn't mandatory but I wish it was to help your grade! I learned nothing. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She's all right. She spends the first couple classes weeding out the non-hackers, but when you ease into the semester she's cool, usually talking about her own life lol. Exams are easy, terms straight from the textbook.

Took Scaife for 474, might seem strict on the first day. As the semester goes on she is actually really nice and helpful. She knows her stuff, and tells personal stories based on a topic she is covering from the book. Class based on a 5 pg paper (really easy), and 5 exams(consists of MC, TF, fill in the blank and 2 short answers). Take her.

I loved this class. At first she does seem extremely unapproachable, however when she begins to teach you learn that she's very experienced, funny, sarcastic, and knowledgeable. All her exams are pretty much based on the book, even the little side stories, so I guess you can skip class as long as you read the chapters she lectures on.

She can be cold and hard to judge. Some people, she is very nice to. Others, not so much. You don't need to go if you read. Don't be late!!! Don't text. I did not like that the information is spoon fed to you and that there is no discussion about the topics. It could be very interesting otherwise. I don't know. I don't like learning from a book.

Yes, you could easily pass the class but you don't learn anything. Class compromised of 5 tests and one, easy, but time consuming writing assignment. Attendance isn't mandatory. Everything you need to know is in the book. Test questions are obscure. Wouldn't recommend her. Has interesting stories, but memorization is more important than learning.

The class just gets better! She is clear, open to questions during class, gives good examples of the materials. If you pay close attention, you catch her sarcastic jokes and they are nothing short of hilarious. I suggest thorough notes during lectures, and equally as thorough notes while you read through the chapters. If you study, it's easy.

She is a decent teacher. Besides the fact tat she lied t us about dropping the lowest test grade. We had 5 tests, no notes no hw. Just tests based on book and lecture. Lecture can get boring, and she is not that great of a teacher, but its easy and interesting at times

Meet with her weekly because you will succeed only by working with her to improve. Sarcastic but very funny and she goes straight for info so ask questions anytime during class it helps. Just really get to know her and you will have a good experience.
