Comment:
The class overall was unorganized- we never knew what would be covered on an exam. Nice professor, but his lectures didn't really relate to the exams. You will really have to read the book to succeed. Lots of exam material is pulled from the Connect assignments This was a late start class, which contributed to the immense amount of material covered

Really insightful. Interesting to listen to. Tests are hard, over all great.

Here is a professor that is very smart, maybe even brilliant, within his field, but has trouble passing on that knowledge. He is a better researcher and writer than teacher. His examples can be confusing, and he uses unnecessarily complex diction in his lectures. It is not easy to distill his lectures and power points into study material.

I went to every class. Before every exam I asked, after class, for any specific areas that I should focus on other than the study guide, he offered no help at all. I would say that 80% of the study guide will not show up on his exams.

Very disorganised, basically just reads his powerpoints and then rephrases them in weird ways for exams. Quizzes are right from the powerpoints and exams are half from the powerpoints and half random little facts buried deep in the reading or things be briefly mentions in class.

Absolutely awful communication. Can't understand, uses useless examples that do not apply to lecture, terrible spelling/grammar on everything he writes. Extremely unorganized. He had to change or remove a number of questions on online quizzes/written exams due to their improper wording. It's almost like it's his very first year teaching.

He's unorganized or over-extended. Does not understand online learning process. Didn't seem particularly smart in person or online -- lots of typos and poor grammar. But though he misses deadlines, he is very adamant about students keeping them. Pleasant otherwise, but not very much heart or moral strength.
