He's extremely well versed in the topics of the course as well as the application of those topics. He expects his students to work hard but is very fair in the grading. His class is not easy but it is certainly worth attending and is very interesting. Overall great teacher!

Dr. Aindow is one of the best professors in the materials department. His exams are thorough, but incredibly fair, and based on the lecture slides he posts online. He will always take time to help a student, gives extra credit, and will move deadlines for the greater interest of students. Those who complain about his class obviously never go to it.

Comment:
Problem with course is that taught with overly-written slides (too much info). Grading was not objective since writing purely subjective according to style and approach. Too much reading for 1000-2000 word essays which tended to be focused on details.
