Worst professor I ever met. Sooooo many works need to do and occupy a lot of time to do her homework every day. You need to finish almost 20 pages of the final paper. She will put you in a group and some group members are not responsible. the assignments are not clear. I will never take her again.

Amazing teacher! She gives good feedback on your writing and is helpful when you are struggling with an essay topic. Good amount of reading and responses. Perfect class to take as a freshman. I will be taking it with her again. Do ALL the extra credit it is very helpful in the end.

Amazing. One of the best teachers I've ever had.. It's pretty easy to get an A and on top of that she truly helped me become a better writer and her course taught me a lot about many things outside of just writing.

This professor was very unorganized when it came to giving instructions for assignments. It seems she herself does not understand the prompts and directions of her own assignments. If you take her be prepared to be confused about every essay you write.

Do not take her! She judges students if she doesn't like their comments and can make you feel like your opinion is wrong. Shes quirky and I didn't learn anything. If you are going to take her class, take a MWF because an hour and 15 minutes in her class is time wasted.

Prof. Otis us a great professor who I definitely recommend. Attendance is required, but you can make up for missed classes with frequent, short extra credit assignments. There is typically a short reading and response due every class and then for the papers, you are basically free to choose any topic and not required to mention the reading.

Professor Otis was a solid choice. She assigns 3 papers a semester, nothing too difficult (if you ask for feedback on ideas she will gladly assist). She wants you to think outside the box and if you do and clearly state what you learned in the paper you are set. Lots of reading responses (1 pg), but overall great teacher. Take her! I learned a lot.

Otis is fair and nice, a very motherly type figure. She's willing to meet you halfway if you are. Assigned a few short readings where we had to bring in typed responses, but were easy to do. Offers extra credit. 3 papers the whole semester, which were kinda confusing, but she's helpful when you ask for help and gives good and thorough feedback.

She's really nice and thoroughly goes over your 1st paper to help you out but she is a bit crazy. Her nature theme was a bit much for me but overall she's a nice person and it isn't hard to get a good grade.

A little corky but nice, down to earth, and really tried her best to make class engaging. Whole semester is dedicated to writing one research paper on any topic you want. There are one page response papers that you have to write but those are easy... Most classes are dedicated to helping each student with there research papers. EASY A+!

I love Professor Otis! I took her English class my first semester, and she really took the time to make sure we knew what we were writing about for our papers. Interesting topics if you let yourself see it from another perspective. Many people didn't like it because it was nature, but it's really easy if you put the effort into it!

Overall, a pretty great teacher. She assigns homework every night but it really helps your writing and critical thinking skills a lot. Don't text and DO NOT go on Facebooko since she'll totally flip out.
