Very good professor, explains the material very well in class with a lot of enthusiasm. Gives homework that prepares you very well for the test. Fast email response and very available to meet or speak on the phone. Textbook NOT required for course.

If you have the choice, AVOID TAKING HIM! His class is one of the hardest science classes. He gives confusing questions on tests. Overall, the class hates his teaching method. Two of his exams are 80% and 5 quizes worth 20% of the grade i.e. 100% total points.

He is just bad at explaining the material to the class. His lecture is boring, it is a waist of time and money. 40% midterm, 40% final, and 20% quiz. His exams requires student numbers unless it will result to 0 point for the specific question. His grading style does not make sense. Avoid him if you can.

1)Has an exceptional career record as a prof. 2)Classes are not very exciting but prof covers vast range of topics. 3) Mostly covers presentration slides. 4)quizes are open book and easy. 5) Score our best in quizes and mid term. 6) Final term is pretty ok. 7)weightage 20% quiz , 40% mid term , 40% final term. 8) A grade is easily achievable here.

He is an very excellent and helpful professor. Every time I have questions, I emailed him, and he will respond me very fast. For his exam, if you do all your homework and you understand the material, it's easy.

Also had him for 453. If you can do the home, the final is easy (not too different from homework). English isn't well but it also makes his teaching in laymen's terms. Easy to get an A if you can master the homework. Open book exams but if you don't know your material you won't have enough time even with the references.

His adjuct prof taught most of the class. Not good at explaining material. More concerned with his research than his students in this class. Easy exams but could be a much better class with the right prof. His adjuct Jefferson was helpful and willing to take time out for the students. Jefferson was a fair grader, Zhou was nonexistent.

I learned a lot from him especially how to write English papers. With his help, I successfully finished three transaction papers. He is the best professor I have ever met.

Extremely easy class. 4 homeworks and the midterm and final are exactly the same as the homeworks. On top of that he makes it open book, open notes, and open LAPTOP!!!

Agree,u need to do homework well and not too hard homework. Pretty helpful guy too. never turned down an appointment and email response was pretty fast(abt 30 mins).didnt need anything other than some engineering background in course.best things are class are short 2hrs at max,so never fell sleep.
