Comment:

At times he's rude and his grading criteria is hard to understand because it's based on points. You don't know your grade till the end. Everybody is confused and he replies in such a rude way when asking a question or clarification.

Comment:

Took this Professors class online and it was very difficult. The course material was not the reason that it was difficult, the professors grading criteria and organization was very complicated. No one understood what he wanted and the resources provided were minimal. Professor was quite rude as well.

The class in general was okay. You wont know your garde until after you take your final so you wont know if youre passing the class or not. You have to do the discussion assignments thats what the final consists of. Hes a tough grader on that. The average was an F in the whole class. I wouldnt take his class not worth worth the time.

Not an easy class at all. But if you do your work and follow his instructions well you will pass. Need to do discussions and final will be based on those discussions. You will not find anything on quizlet. Lab portion requieres participation on discussions as well. There are assignments and quizzes every week. Keep up with the dates.

He changed the format of the class. Everything is NOT on quizlet anymore. The final exam was so hard the average was a D. This class is not worth your time. The discussion assignments are graded extra harshly. I don't recommend taking this class!!

You need a code (less than $100) and each week you do online assignments which are conveniently answered on Quizlet if you google it. Don't forget to do the assignments, and you MUST participate in the online forum discussions he has, he goes alphabetically. There was only one chance of EC, and you MUST take the final, or fail.

Online class (code costs $90). Easy A. Just don't forget to do the tutorials, quizzes, extra credit, and papers. Have to write a small paper (easy), final was an explanation (easy), emails you often. Set alarm so you don't forget the due dates (every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:55). Only down side is forgetting to do some of the online work. Easy A

Keep up with due dates and you'll be fine. Weekly assignments of tutorials, quizzes, and two easy writings the book helps you understand. Professor Mijic is caring and replies quickly to students. His assignments are clear and he provides alot of help and likes communicate within students. He offers tons of extra credit, take him if you can!

Love this class! Yes, there is reading involved but for the most part they are pretty interesting. Offers lots of extra credit. There are a few astronomy related lectures to go to which are worth 10 points!! Just go to those and it will make up for the bad quiz grades you get, which by the way have 3 attempts each.

You can't fail unless you REALLY try. I kid you not, 90% is based on quizzes and 10% is the final (written assignment). The format will probably be the same for semesters since he is giving this a test run before transition. Did I mention plenty of extra credit and 3 quiz attempts?! It's not as hard as it looks, read the book!!

This was an easy course online, at first many students are confused, but the directions are straight forward and easy to follow. I truly love the way this professor teaches and the quick feed back replies when doing group discussions.

I took the online class & I thought it was great! Its a 4 unit class (quarter system still) so there's as much work, time & effort as any regular face-to-face class. The professor treats the online class like a regular class in terms of communication & participation. I liked it so much I enrolled for his online 151 as well!

This online class is an easy A if you stay focused. You will see 4 chapters every week, so your going to have to do 4 practices and 4 quizzes every week, the quizzes are the same as the practice quizzes, and final is the same as practice quizzes too. Just make sure to do that and get full credit.

Okay class. Big mess with the online system, so much so that we were able to take our finals at home. There are 2 quizzes every week plus mandatory online discussions. Overall, it's an easy class. Stay on top of the reading and you will pass.

I already rated this prof for ASTR 151 and now I took him for ASTR 160 which is a lot harder (both online classes). The material is really comprehensive and more confusing than 151. Offers a lot of extra credit for this course and has an easy grading scale, so I guess it all evens out. There's a quiz every week and you can take each quiz 3 times.

I love this course. Every week, I only spent couple hours to read the text book and notes, follow the instruction Professor provides. The materials are very interesting. I got 98% for my final grade. I learned a lot from this class!
