Absolutely hate this teacher. Most unorganized and ridiculous person I have ever met. Makes you take notes in a particular way, very confusing, unclear about what he wants, and does not speak English well enough to be teaching ENGLISH speaking students. I am a honor roll straight A student and I am struggling in this class. I can not stand him.

I have never rated any professor on here nor had I planned on it. This teacher is awful. He is a very nice guy, but a terrible teacher. You will walk out of his class wondering how he has tenure. He doesn't use his syllabus, he changes dates, he adds test material the day of the test that was never mentioned before. He is a huge stress increase.

This is a really nice professor who means well but teaches a very difficult class. His organizational skills need work as my class was often confused about due dates and assignments. He has an accent which can be difficult to understand for the hard of hearing like me. I got an "A" by studying the textbooks hard, didn't learn much in actual class

This was the worst class I have ever taken! I am not a C student at all, but he is unorganized, you cannot understand what he is talking about, jumps from one topic to another, and just cannot answer questions. I would not recommend this class to ANYONE, and I am a History major.

Professor did not follow his syllabus, he writes your research thesis for you and tells you what books to use, makes you turn in research information as you go but doesn't give it back to you until weeks later, uses whole class period to talk about what he wants you to write on your exam, expects a critical analysis on your readings each week

Class is MANDITORY his lectures suck and dont go with anything the test is on, he is obsessed with his mantra, hard to understand, I would NEVER take his class again...class consists of 4 page paper every week, a midterm, a final, and a 15 page paper... not to mention over 50note cards WOST CLASS I HAVE HAD IN COLLEGE THUS FAR... AND IM A SENIOR!!!

Although interesting subject and the professor did understood subject fully his ablity to rely information was poor. He doesn't encourage open debate, and he would personally call out several students and embarass them in front of class. There is a 4 to 6 page paper a week on the reading, and last very unclear 15 page paper, with arbitrary due date

Ignore all the juvenille attacks on this guy's personality. He is extremely friendly and helpful. He tends to be a bit vague in his lectures, but is totally ready and willing to help you at any time and is very knowledgeable. As long as you study and follow his instructions, his exams are a breeze.

Make sure to follow along in the text. If he requires attendance, show up otherwise don't and just read the text. Often hard to understand however very friendly and interesting. Mainly lectures, some films towards the end. Lectures are in outline form- does not go much into depth and if he does it is very confusing and seems to be unrelated.

ABSOLUTELY HORRID. WARNING: DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He rambles, is never on-topic. Leaving that class I felt like I didn't learn a THING. All I know now is that the white man stole land from the black Africans. The worst professor ever...and he tr
