Comment:
This class is great. People don't give Doyle enough credit. You don't have to show up to get an A, sure, but I recommend you do. He has interesting things to say and you won't have to do any work if you just go to class. I wish people took his class more seriously. Take, take, take.

TERRIBLE. You won't learn a thing unless you teach yourself from the book, which he doesn't even follow that well. Don't take him if you want to understand macro. Seriously bad. He also provides basically NO prep for tests, and he is a nightmare for the detail-oriented student. Ambiguous test questions. The only great part is he skips class A LOT.

Dr. Doyle is such a unique and interesting guy. He is a very good teacher and manages to keep the lectures informative and low-pressure. He is funny, helpful, and very encouraging of class discussion and debates. I particularly appreciate his use of Catholic doctrine in the latter half of the course. Study from past exams-some questions are thesame

He certainly made a subject that I previously 0 interest in at fascinating. I laughed a lot in his class. At times it seems his class is less about economics and more about sociology. I enjoyed it.

Students' eyes light up when people mention Dr. Doyle because he just is one of those fantastic, memorable professors. His teaching style is candid, casual, and clear. He really wants his students to do well and he genuinely cares about others. Conservatives might not like his liberal leanings, though. He really makes you love economics.

Clear, helpful, edgy, and humorous. I don't understand econ well, but he made it perfectly understandable. Grading is fair and generous. He cares more that you learn than about your grade and always gives the benefit of the doubt. Take this legend if you can!

Doyle is one of my favorite profs yet. I strongly recommend taking econ with him. He's different from most UD profs--like a breath of fresh air. He keeps students' attention, makes the subject interesting and applicable, and clearly knows his stuff.

William Doyle is a beautiful person. He teaches in such a way that his personal struggles amplify his ability to relate to students as people. You will never regret knowing this man, no matter what grade you take out of the class. His preparation for lectures is intensive; his style is magnificent. I love him.

Dolye is by far one of the best professors at UD. Besides being hilarious and open-minded, he is a genious who rarely even brings notes with him to class. He is always available for help outside of class and offers tremendous review sessions for tests. I leave his class wanting to incorporate what I've learned to current events.

The most entertaining and funny UD professor! He doesn't take attendence, but I went to every single lecture just because he was so interesting. The only lecturer that could keep me focused on what he was talking about for the whole hour and a half. I found the tests very easy as well, and got an easy A.
