Dr. Ross very outgoing and energetic which makes her easy to pay attention to. She is a great teacher, if you go to class you will pass. She makes learning easy and fun. There is no homework aside from some light reading and 3 papers. She is a fairly easy grader as long as you try your best.

Comment:

Dr. Ross is great! She is so energetic and excited about what she teaches. The MOST IMPORTANT THINGS for this class are: 1) Always go to class! She is very clear that there will be a quiz at the beginning of every class, and it's easy points as long as you show up and pay attention. 2) You cannot pass this class without writing the papers!

You must love reading Shakespeare to take this class. Dr. Ross is a very good professor. She helps you in anything you are stuck on. Show up to class, do the work, and show interest in what she is teaching you. You will do well.

AWESOME! My favorite teacher ever! She is very nice, and you will learn a lot about art and music in her class. One quiz a week about last weeks lecture, and around 5 papers that take 30 mins to write an A paper. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK, she will tell you to return it the first day. Pay attention during lecture, and you wont have to study for an A.

Comment:

Mrs. Ross has been the best instructor I've had at C-State. She managed to help make a boring class more than bearable, and her lectures left nothing to complain about. Ross was also understanding and flexible, and her gentle sense of humor cracked me up on more than one occasion. If you're taking a humanities course, aim for this woman's class.

She is one of the few professors at Columbus State that does a great job. Her class is done very well. She keeps your interest level high. Do not skip class, come late, or miss an assignment. You will regret it later on. I think she gives opportunity for a semi easy A but if you miss something your grade will definitely drop. I would recommend!

Patrice is passionate about art and cultures which made a boring class decent. There are plenty of papers to write but her grading is fair. Exams are easy if you take the time to study. You don't need to buy the textbook.

Very nice, but a little over the top. She grades test very hard, she takes points off for everything. No need to buy a book. She gives quiz every week(take them seriously) Quizzes can make the difference from an A or a B

This is my second course with Dr Ross and she is by far the best professor I have had at columbus state. I would continue taking her classes just for fun. She is very interested in her classes and makes everything interesting and understandable. She cares about the suject and her students comprehension of it. She is a peach.

She is the kind of teacher that we all hope to get. She's engaging, she loves teaching and is excited about her subject. She gives a weekly 10pt quiz which helps you stay sharp with the material. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. If you attend every class and take notes, you will do fine.

Excellent teacher go to class everyday, take notes and you'll ace every quiz. 1 midterm 1 final just study review sheet hard and you'll get an A. The class info is sometimes boring but she is so animated it makes it exciting.

Took her online version. Very easy and straightforward. You do not need the book, just the internet. The arts essays are like completion grades, the quizzes are simple and the exams are in blue books, but she tells you what is going to be on them. If you dont get an A in the class, just drop out of college.

Excellent teacher. I took her online and didn't even purchase the book. Everything you need to research is on wikipedia. She tells you whats on the test and that's exactly what's on the test. I would definately recommend her to anyone.

Comment:

Dr. Ross is great! I never met her in person, as I took her online class, but I will say she is crystal clear in what she wants and what you need to complete. Don't get the book, you don't need it. If you Wikipedia the "People, Places and Things," you'll do fine on the exams. The essay questions take a little more critical thought, however.
