she is a good teacher but i dont think she relizes some people may be new to this and she is treating them like they been doing this for years ive been in the class for nearly over a month and havent learned a single thing first day of class she goes on a rant about how drugs are bad and you shouldnt do them. teach the class leave your veiws out

Professor Faulds-Howard was great. I took this class for a Maymester and it was easy. You can submit your speeches through YouTube as long as you have 3 audience members(5 for regular semester). She gives you her cell phone number and gets back to you pretty quick. Exams were straight from her review guideline. She was good at communication.

The Professor did not seem to understand what she was teaching. The class is a voice and diction class, and we were required to learn the phonetic alphabet, but she did not even know it herself. The class corrected her many times. Also, she does hold her "theatre kids" higher than other majoring students.

She is the hardest teacher at TJC to get a hold of. If you are not one of her theater students than she does not care about you. I would recommend a different speech teacher, one that actually knows a thing or two about speech. Horrible speech teacher!!!!

I took this class as a maymester class. MWF in class, TTH at home online work. EXCELLENT Teacher!! Highly recommend her. Great class to take as a maymester. We had 3 indivl speeches and 1 group speech. They must be at least 3 mins. long. It was a great help to get over public speaking. It helped that we only had 15 in our class. I would take again!

This teacher is awesome! I took her for a maymester hybrid class and it was fun, easy, and enjoyable. I only had to give 3 speeches and the group speech. If you are dreading speech class, take it in Maymester or Summer with Mrs. Faulds. You will love it.

Ms. Faulds rocks! I had her online speech class and it was easy and very understandable. Do you work and go to meetings and you will make and A! I was also in a few of her productions and can honestly say that she is truely an amazing teacher and person! I would recomend her to anyone! SHE IS TRUELY AMAZING!

I took Mrs. Faulds for Business & Professional Speaking during the summer and would definitely recommend her and the class, esp. if you have been dreading taking speech! The tests are open book and taken on WebCT. Only 2 speeches + 1 group speech during the summer, and very small number of people you have to give your speeches in front of.

She is a great teacher. Very flexible!! If you review your notes, you will do great on tests which by the way are taken in groups! She grades your speech very easy as long as you follow 'Basics'... don't forget to spit out your gum..pretty harsh! I would recommend her to anybody!!!

I took Mrs. Faulds online!! She's awesome! She's not hard, very flexible, and amazingly helpful!! I enjoyed the class.. we had to do two individual speeches and a group speech, but I didn't find any of them to be hard!! Take Mrs. Faulds, she'd a sweet lady!!

Easy teacher, even in the summer! The group assignment seems hard, but it's really not. In summer, you only have 2 individ speeches + group speech. Assignments are REALLY easy. For online, you still have to go to class once a week, but it's not bad. I'd definitely suggest taking her in the summer if you just want to get it over with.

She is a very nice instructor, like a motherly figure. She makes it easy for you to get an 'A' especially internet classes. She doesn't grade harshly she give you a good grade. She is highly recommended
