I've had him twice now. He is much better this semester than last. Has answered all my questions and is pretty interesting, even if you aren't interested in art. Pretty good, take him while you can.

He could be very, very good at what he does because he definately know his stuff, but he is kind of whiney which is kind of annoying and draws away from his teaching. His quizzes are easy if you study. He grades papers pretty good most the time. Only other problem is he is unfriendly about you asking questions.

AWESOME class!! I learned sooo much in his class. I got as much out of this class that I put in, it was refreshing! DON'T miss class, after 2 abs. he lowers your overall grade but he gives bonus quizes. If you don't do well on the exams, the quizzes are counted to raise your overall grade! It's great. I wish all instructors did this.

Very smart man, but not a good teacher. Bonus quizzes? I've never seen one and never missed a class. He tells you he is not going to give a quiz so dont worry about it and gives a quiz teh next class. He say he will give a quiz in a week so you don't have to worry about it the next class, and gives it the next class. Yes! He whines too much!!!!

Prof. Roark is a great teacher. VERY EASY CLASS!!! Everything is on blackboard and made available 2 u. If u pay attention in class and study notes u will pass with an "A". DID I FORGET TO MENTION THAT THIS CLASS IS VERY VERY EASY. He gives out bonus quizzes and before every test he goes over exactly what's gon be on the test and if u study got it.

Okay teacher. Quizes are easy if you study a little. Not very clear on essays and doesn't always go over the material before they are due. Can be interesting. Complains too much! Takes to long too grade and is always whining about how sick he is. I wish I could use a sinus infection as an excuse to not do my work!

Very easy class. I had a 97A in the class but because I missed three days he gave me a B so GO TO CLASS!!! Other than that, don't buy the book because he puts everything on Blackboard.

He is really nice and will help you out if you need it. The test are pretty easy, as long as you go to class and study the study guide. He is also really intelligent and a little quirky sometimes. He loves South Park, so you know he's a normal guy.

He works hard, creating Powerpoint lectures, complete with the artworks, and posting them to Blackboard so we can have them at home. Very intelligent guy, but goes more than half way to make everything clear. I'm learning a lot in his classes. He's extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter.
