Too bad for you... he's retiring after this semester (Fall 2010.) This was literally the easiest science class I ever took. And his jokes might be kinda lame, but you've got to laugh, cause at least he's trying to make geology entertaining. =P

His class is easy. Seriously, the hardest part of the whole class for me was staying awake when he would turn off the lights to play a movie. Good teacher with really lame jokes.

The prof. is extremely into his profession, he makes videos of himself. He plays videos the last 10 mins of class. Board written stuff/slide shows. Attendance isn't mandatory. Sit in the first few rows or else you'll fall asleep/not pay attention in the back. 1 midterm 1 final. You can't just study the notes, I tried. Study the book. I got a C

He thinks he's funny, but the class is laughing at him, not with him, or groaning. He's a good teacher, though, and it's impossible to fail his class, since he grades on a super-curve! He's also very helpful during lab. Perfect class for people (like me) who hate science.

Funny Teacher, entertaining class, it is actually an interesting class.. attending class is not required, but watch out because he always throw out pop quizes which counts towards your grade and also sometimes he gives pop quiz for extra credit.. u miss it, u can't make it up.. overall, an easy class.. and Funny Teacher...

This class is extremely easy to pass. The curve is really what will make you pass the class. The only thing your going to worry about is taking the midterm and final. He gives only pop quizzes when there is a small amount of students in the class. Take good notes, and go over the notes, and you'll be fine. FYI This is a very boring class.

This is a very easy class if you just pay attention and take good notes. His lectures are a bit long. (the 3 hour nightclass felt especially long) The curve makes it very hard to fail, unless you are stupid. His "geology" sense of humor is rocky, to say the least. (that is very similar to the jokes he constantly tells.

Very funny, he's as much comedian as teacher. He's always engaged, explains (or violently demonstrates!) everything well, and shows cool videos. Textbook completely optional. Has unannounced quizzes. Exams can be pretty tricky, but because he grades on a curve and gives mostly As and Bs, it's still easy to get a good grade.

Great teacher, funny guy--had him in the 80's and loved him...and my kids like him now (if they would only study more they would get better grades). Learned a lot that served me well in appreciating this earth and teaching my kids about the world around them. I was a business major so it was a fun science class to break up my more boring ones.

He is a very cool teacher and person. His jokes are dry and witty, but funny. It's hard to get a good grade in this class, but it's hard to fail if you do all of the work. Also, he grades on a curve, and that helped my class.

Coolest geology teacher ever. He says alot of jokes, and trys his best to make the subject more enjoyable, but you know... you can only make rocks exciting up to a certain point. Just read your book when you're supposed to, and pay attention to his memory devices he teaches. Those are particularly helpful.

nice guy;funny;he throws out jokes every 10 minutes. Some of the jokes are corny but some are actually LOL funny.Be nice to him..he has a heart of gold. His tests can be a little tricky sometimes..it is VERY hard to get a perfect score but at least he grades on a curve.Just show up and do the work.
